Photo Sunday
Taking a break today from remodeling projects! Spent the last two days stripping off wall paper at Jeff's new house - ugh! Tiring job! But I got two rooms done and ready to paint! My body is not used to all this physical labor - so, Hudon and I are going to breakfast with a friend and then to Palisade's Farmers Market. A nice relaaxing day!!!!
Have a terrific day!

Photo Saturday - a look of joy!
. Whew.....I think I'm a bit too old for this physical labor 😉 Got lots done yesterday at Jeff's new house but, oh my, I was tired last night. Back at it today, although I'm going to be watching Hudson, so as as soon as he gets bored with the whole 'working' thing, we'll be coming home! So, I should get a bit of a break today!
Have a super wonderful day!

The card - another one with my new stamp set. I used just one of the leaves from the set. I stamped the leaves all over the front of the card as a background. The same leaf is stamped just once on the smaller panel with some added splotches, a sentiment and some ribbon. A super easy one.
Jeff and Sara are closing on their new house today. So, Jeff will be picking me up after and then I get to see the new house and we'll get started on tearing out carpet and stripping off wall paper. Oh boy!
Have a great day!

The card - played with my new goodies yesterday! Back panel is embossed with a new folder from SU (Old World Paper) Smaller panel is stamped with another new product from SU, Forever Fern. The sentiment is stamped and then punched out with a label punch. I used another label punch for a bit of shading behind.
Today it's time for yard work - the lawn is getting shaggy. Looking forward to an afternoon and evening of stitching/knitting.
Enjoy your day!

The card - I used an embossing folder for the background, but put the card panel in at an angle to get a bit of a different look. I made the frame using two die cuts together. The leaves are die cut, the flowers are Prima flowers.
Had a terrific birthday dinner last night at one of my favorite restaurants - thanks Deb! And I got a new stamp set and a new embossing folder.....guess what I'm going to do today!
Have a great day!

Need to get some card kits ready for class tonight. I think I'll try to get a bit of knitting done today - haven't done much lately and need to get caught up on my block for knitting class!

The card - small panel is embossed and matted. All the flower pieces are stamped, then cut out and popped up.
Celebrating my birthday today! (#72 in case you're wondering :) Spending an extra day with Hudson, lunch at my favorite local hamburger place and maybe a stroll down Main Street. What more could a girl ask for? Since dining out at a restaurant is still a little weird, Jeff is going to bbq on Saturday for me. So I can look forward to another celebration later in the week! Yay! (I love birthdays!)
Have a marvelous day!

I know there's things I should be doing today, but I don't have a clue what they are. Guess I'll try to figure it out pretty soon! Looking forward to Friday night crafting with friends though!
Have a beautiful day!

The card - background is patterned paper. Small white panel is die cut (SU) with sentiment added at the bottom. Leaves are punched out and sponged along the edge. Flowers are stamped first, then sponged in the center, punched out (2 lg, 1 sm for each flower) and popped up.
I ended up being pretty darn lazy yesterday - went to lunch with a friend and that was about it. But that's ok, lunch was great and I hadn't seen her since this whole pandemic stuff started, so it was great to catch up! Have another friend coming over today to help me with some knitting issues, but before that I better get the lawn mowed and a bit of yard work done!
Enjoy your day!

The card - no stamping on this one. Leaves and Hello are die cut and attached to the panel which is patterned paper. Pretty darn easy!
Ended up with a totally free day .....no idea at the moment what I'm going to do. Might try to get the yard work done - or not! Need to think about it a bit more 😄
Have a great day!
