The card - super simple....I stamped some grunge on the background piece and then just added a couple of die cut flowers (Tim Holtz) with bling for centers.  Easy peasy!

Think I'll try to get yard work done this morning before it gets too hot!  After that, who knows!

The card - The design on the right is die cut with a piece of patterned paper placed under the cut out part.  The 'happy' is die cut and the birthday is stamped, cut out and popped up.  The butterflies are punched out and popped up. 

Another 'Grandma day' today - woo hoo!  We had a great afternoon up on Grand Mesa yesterday - it was cloudy and cool....so nice!  No idea what we'll do today.

Crafty Sunday - finally, a finished wool applique piece.  Feels like I've been working on this one forever!  I will figure out a different centerpiece to put on it, but it works for now!

Need to get a few chores done today.  (the laundry would be good!)  I did stamp yesterday and was very productive - yay!

Photo Saturday ....

Kind of dreary and windy outside today.  Kind of matches my mood I guess.  Hudson and I were supposed to be in southern California this weekend - going to the beach, Legoland and having a huge bbq with my cousins!  I was so looking forward to this trip since it's been several years since I've been there and it would have been Hudson's first!  Bummer!  This darn pandemic!  Oh well, I have plenty to be thankful for, just need to wallow for a minute 😞 

Hope things are going well for all of you....keep on keeping on!  We will survive all this craziness!

The card - the background is embossed with SU's Old World paper folder.    I used the sunflower die (SU), cut it out, put a piece of patterned paper behind the panel and put the flower back in the cut out.  Finished with some ribbon  and a sentiment.

Kind of at loose ends today.  I'm pretty sure I can find something to do if I try hard enough 😄.  Looking forward to movie night at Hi Fashion tonight....friends, food and stitching - yay!

The card - flowers was stamped, punched out and is popped up.  The leaves were punched out and sponged a bit on the edges.  Added patterned paper, ribbon, and a sentiment.

The last two days nothing has gone quite right.  Ugh!  Driving me crazy.  Let's hope that today is better!  Yard work this morning, knitting group this afternoon and stitching with friends this evening.  I'm really hoping for a good day!!!!

The card - I stamped the 'thanks' several times on the background and then added the 'friends' at the bottom.  The strip along the side is made by using the 'distress' background stamp (SU) and then cutting a strip from that.  I added a thin strip of silver glitter paper.   I stamped the 'distress' background stamp in another color, then I stamped the butterflies on each one of the background pieces and then punched them out.  (what an easy way to color an image!)  The butterflies are popped up.  Add a bit of bling!

My plan is to spend the day in my stamping room.  Hoping it's a productive day!

I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do today.  I thought I'd clean house, but can't quite get too excited about that!  Hmmm....maybe something more exciting wll come to me.  LOL!

The card - this is the card I did for our Shoebox group last week.  The background is embossed on a little over half of the background panel.  (leave enough room for the sentiment)  The smaller panel is die cut with a small piece of border attached to the edge.  I stamped the leaves directly onto the panel in green and then the top layer is stamped on a seperate piece, die cut and then popped up.

Tonight we are finally having a Shoebox get-together.  And, of course I haven't yet figured out a card .....hmmmm.....guess I better get to work on that!

The card - Leaves (SU) are stamped and then die cut and popped up inside the frame.  Although it doesn't show up well in the photo, the blue piece is embossed.  The frame is die cut using two stitched dies.  

I think it's time to do a bit of house cleaning, although I need to talk myself into getting started - somehow I'm not extremely excited about doing it!  😏

The card - My friend Emily loaned me this new sunflower stamp set to play with.  For this one I stamped the flower and leaves in black and then die cut the center pieces.  I colored the center pieces a bit and put it back together.  The center panel is popped up.

The card - I love this new background stamp I got for my birthday!  (SU)  So many cool things you could do with it.  I just inked it up and used it as is for this card.  I stamped some leaves (SU) in the same color as the background and then added another color and stamped twice without re-inking.  The sentiment is stamped on a die cut label and popped up.
