Photo Sunday.....Hudson and Ethan

'Grandma time'.  Hudson and I are going to be busy preparing Halloween food for our special Halloween dinner party tonight (just family).    The menu includes mummy hot dogs, spider deviled eggs, a pumpkin veggie tray and pumpkin shaped decorated sugar cookies.

Happy
Halloween!

The card - a simple black and white.  Background is patterned paper.  Center panel is die cut with added  die cut flowers and a heat embossed sentiment.  Super easy!

Errands this morning.  Looking forward to dinner and crafting with my friend Emily tonight!

Have a wonderful day!

The card - I stamped the flowers and the leaves on a solid panel and then I dieu cut the rectangle out of the middle.  I matted the die cut piece and then popped it up in the same space.

Hopefully I can be more productive today than I was yesterday.  Couldn't quite get motivated to do much of anything!  Hmmm....maybe today!

Have a great day!

The card - top and bottom leaves are stamped directly on the strip.  Middle strip has one leaf die cut from gold and the other leaf was stamped then die cut and popped up.    Add a bit of grunge, a sentiment and some twine.

No big plans for the day.   Maybe some stamping.  Or maybe I should work on cleaning out my closet.  I think it's time to put away the summer clothes!

Have a great day!

The background is embossed, then the front piece is embossed with the same folder and then die cut.  I sponged some color on the leaves and then popped it up directly on top of the other piece.  The small sentiment panel is die cut and popped up in the center.

'Grandma time' with Ethan today.  That's all!

Have a marvelous day!

The card - some fall flowers.  The flowers are stamped directly on the background panel.  The leaf is stamped on a seperate piece, cut out and then popped up.  I added speckles of all the colors of flowers.

I've got a whole list of odds and ends of chores to get done today.  I guess I should start with cleaning up the mess I've made the last two days of stamping :)

Have a great day!

The card - Patterned paper, die cut wheat, punched and scrunched up leaves, twine and a die cut panel for the sentiment - easy peasy!

Spent most of the day yesterday stamping and since the mess is still all over the table I guess I'll just continue on today!

Have a terrific day!

The card - the background is a brick embossing folder that I inked the inside of the folder before embossing.  The large leaves are die cut from patterned paper,  smaller leaves are die cut from gold..

Trying to figure out my plan for the day  - hmmm, don't really have one.  I'm sure I can think of something  :)

Have a great day!

he card - the background is patterned paper.  I made the frame by cutting two different sizes of rectangle die cuts together.  The flowers are stamped on a seperate piece and then die cut.  The greenery behind the flowers is die cut from solid colored card stock.

Was hoping to get some yard work done this morning, but I think it's too wet from the rain last night.  Oh well, it can wait for another day.  Looking forward to some adult conversation with the Needle Keepers ladies this afternoon!

Have a wonderful day!

Monday, October 18, 2021

The card - background is embossed (same folder as the Christmas cards).  The center piece is die cut with heat embossed sentiment.  Flower is stamped, die cut and popped up.  I just wrapper some twine around my fingers to put behind the flower.

It's my usual day for 'Grandma time' with  Ethan, but he has a dentist appointment later so his Mom won't be bringing him until after his appointment.  So, I'm trying to catch up on some chores this morning.

Have a wonderful day!

The card - the two leaves in the background are stamped directly on the white panel.  I stamped a bit of grunge in the colors of the leaves.  The leaf in front is die cut from gold paper.

The card - patterned paper, die cut circle and die cut leaves.  Super easy!

No idea what I'm doing today!  Didn't think that thru and it's my only free day this week!  Hmmmm.   Might be a good day for reading and a nap :)

Have a wonderful day!

The card - this is the same die cut/embossing folder set (SU) that I used to make all those Christmas cards that I posted the other day.  So, it's not just for Christmas!  I used the embossing folder for the background, then embossed another one and die cut the image out and popped it up on top.  The middle piece is die cut, heat embossed, matted and popped up.  The small leaves are punched out of a variety of colors and tucked under the smaller panel.  I love this new stamp/folder/die cut set - it would make pretty summer cards too!

Off to the eye Dr this morning.  Getting checked out for upcoming Cataract surgery!  Looking forward to an afternoon with the Needle Keepers and knitting with friends!

Have a great day!
