The card - background is embossed.  The large tree in the background was die cut and then I placed a piece of patterned paper behind the cut out part.  The tree is front was die cut from gold paper.  

Getting ready for a Christmas get together tonight.  This is a group of friends that has been getting together for at least 30 years - we lost one of the group this year so tonight we'll be thinking of her a lot!  A bit sad, but lots of good memories!
