A scrapbook page today. This is one of the layouts we did in Scrap Class this month - I just added the pictures.
Today - um, not sure yet what I'm going to do. I may work on class projects.
Have a great weekend.

This is probably my favorite card I have done over the last few days. Not sure why - I just liked it a lot. Colors are vanilla, cocoa and black. The leaves are from Verve and the butterflies are Hero Arts. The cocoa strip is embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder.
Today - a little more yard work this morning. Laundry this afternoon and stamping with friends this evening.
Enjoy your day!
How can it be Thursday already? The week is getting away from me. I've spent most of it in my stamp room and have to say I have been fairly productive. But........not much else has gotten done. So, today I am going to get some yard work done and try to get caught up on some household chores that I keep putting off. Looking forward to dinner out with some friends tonight!
Happy stampin'

I decided to try the watercolor roses I have seen all over the internet lately. They really are a lot of fun to do and I ended up doing several in different colors. I need to practice though - I tend to 'over blend' and end up with not enough difference in color. This is one I did with Blue Bayou and baja. It doesn't show in the photo, but I sprayed the rose with Glimmer Mist - it also looks darker in real life.
Today - household chores and a trip to the bank. Nothing very exciting - but hopefully some stamping time thrown in there somewhere too.
Enjoy your day.

Something a little different today - I made these inchies into a 6 x 6 card. The inchies were stamped on different colors of paper, layered on black and pale plum, then added to the card front. The stamps are from Inkadinkado.
Not sure what my plan is for today. Have some paper work to do, laundry and ............... Guess I will go with the flow. Class tonight, so need to get things set up for that.
Have a great day!

The card - stamps are from CTMH. Colors are eggplant, plum and mellow moss. I got this layout idea from a new CTMH book called Wishes - it's a great book filled with tons of card ideas.
Need to get some chores done this morning but I'm looking forward to an afternoon of stamping with Deb and Sherry.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
We had a bit of a surprise birthday dinner for Sherry last night. I made chicken and noodles for dinner and Emily brought a Cold Stone Creamery ice cream cake - oh boy, that was yummy! After a fun dinner I even managed to get my July 4th pictures scrapbooked. Yea! It was a great evening.
I think I'm going to take an r & r day today. It's been a busy week and I haven't had any stamping time. So I may do a little stamping, a little reading, maybe even a little napping. But definitely a "do whatever I feel like" day.
Enjoy your weekend!

The card - swirl stamp is from Paper Trey Ink - I embossed it with white. Butterfly is a SU die. (I used the swiss dots embossing folder after I cut the butterfly) Colors are baja and white.
Judy D and I went to see the movie The Proposal yesterday afternoon. That was the funniest movie I have ever seen - if you haven't seen it, go - you will love it!
More yard work this morning, errands this afternoon and class tonight.
Enjoy your day (and go see The Proposal!)

The card - the background on this card is done with the new embossing folder from SU. Stamp set is Great Friend (SU) - colors are Old Olive, Celery and Razzleberry.
Today - have to get things together for my class this morning, clean up my stamp room this afternoon and then class again tonight.
Have a great day!
The card - I saw this stamp used in a magazine and thought it was pretty darn cool. (it's from Stampers Anonymous) My friend Judy S just happened to have it and let me borrow it to play with! Thanks Judy! I stamped the image in black, on kraft, then stamped it again on vanilla. I used colored pencils to color a few of the squares on the vanilla piece, then cut out the design and popped it up on top of the kraft piece. Added a small border of vanilla - card is soft suede.
This card uses SU's new Circle Circus set. Colors are kraft (the card), Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede and Crushed Curry. I used the solid side of the Bermuda Bay polka dot ribbon.
Today - let's see - I should go out and do some yard work, but I'm not sure I can talk myself into it today. I think spending the day stamping and/or scrapbooking sounds more appealing. We'll see what happens.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

The card - stamp is from Asisan Artistry (SU) Colors are chocolate and riding hood red. Red piece is embossed with cuttlebug embossing folder.
I do believe Deb brought her mouse to my house - how nice of her to share! I had one running all over my living room last night - yikes! Scared me to death as the first time I saw it it ran across the top (yep, the top) of the sofa I was sitting on! Holy Cow - aren't those little buggers supposed to at least stay on the floor? I was just thinking about going to bed, so of course after all that excitement it took a couple more hours for me to calm down enough to even think about going to sleep. I put out several traps hoping to catch it during the night - no such luck! Darn.
Today - need to deal with some weeds in the yard and finish bagging class kits. Class tonight.
Have a wonderful day!
The card - Not much stamping on this one. Card is Soft Suede - mat is Crushed Curry - pattern paper is from Razzleberry Lemonade. I added a tiny pearl to each one of the scallops.
It's supposed to get hot today - I guess it's a good day to stay inside. Good thing, because I have to cut and bag card kits today. Class tonight.
Happy stampin'
Today - yard work this morning, errands this afternoon and class tonight.
Happy stampin'
The card - simple and easy. I used two of SU's new colors, Bermuda and Suede for this card. Stamp is from Pocket Silhouettes. Thank you is from Paper Inspirations.
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday yesterday. We barbecued last night - yummy food, great fun with friends and family. Molly and Judy brought really yummy desserts! It was a very good day.
I am going to take a break from work stuff today and just spend the day in my room doing some 'just for fun' stamping.
Have a wonderful day!

Just a few layers on this one - but I really liked the look. Stamp set is Happy Harmony (SU), colors are riding hood red, black and white.
Had Stamp Club with Sherry last night - woo hoo! It was great fun and she did some awesome cards. Thanks Sherry!
Today - my only 'job' is to go to the grocery store. The rest of the day I am going to spend playing with my stamping friends - yea!
Happy stampin'

A little red, white and blue. I liked the layout on this one. Could be used in a lot of different ways. (the star is an old accu cut die)
I think I am going to try and get my class kits done today. That means a day of cutting and bagging - but if I get it done today I can move on to some fun stuff.
Have a wonderful day!

The card - pattern paper is Sweet Slumber (SU) - label shapes were made with nestabilities, butterfly is Martha Stewart punch - colors are sahara sand, baja and ruby red.
My goal today is to get the class projects done for classes next week. Maybe a little multi-tasking with some laundry and watering the lawn too!
Have a wonderful day!

Just a little color - stamp is from Echoes of Kindess (SU) - paper is from Razzleberry Lemonade and ribbon is the new polka dot ribbon from SU. Background is the SU top note die on a panel with Cuttlebug swiss dots.
Today - I'm trying to talk myself into getting out and doing some yard work this morning. Hoping to work on some class projects this afternoon.
Enjoy your day!
No stamping on this card. Just pretty paper. This is some of the new Razzleberry Lemonade paper from SU. Flower is a die cut (Sizzix). This is a repeat of a layout I used before. Each layer of the flower is sponged with a bit of color before putting it together.Yesterday at The Scrappy Moose was great fun - we did two classes, one in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I was exhausted at the end of the day - but it was worth it. I have some great ideas to use for class projects - now just need to put those ideas to work and get the projects done. And, of course, there was a little retail therapy involved, so I came home with some fun new things to play with.
Hope you are having a great weekend.

The card - SU's new Melon Mambo. The stamped image is from Echoes of Kindess (SU). I stamped the image on the white card front. I punched a scalloped rectangle on the Melon piece, embossed it with the cuttlebug added some ribbon and pearls and then popped it up on the card front.
Today - I'm going to Delta to The Scrappy Moose and taking two classes from a 7 Gypsies instructor. Woo hoo! I love 7 Gypsies, but can never seem to get the 'look' they do. It's going to be great fun for me to be able to take a class from someone else for a change!
Enjoy your weekend.

The card - Stamp is Flowers in Silhouette (SU) - paper is Urban Oasis (SU) Card is kraft. Pretty simple.
Well, so much for the summer weather. I've never seen June weather quite like this before. Looks like more clouds, rain and being dreary again today. Guess it's a good day to stay in and stamp! Or scrapbook! Or finish up some stuff I started earlier in the week! Or, who knows, maybe something else entirely. (can you tell I really have no plan for the day?) Looking forward to stamping/scrapbooking time with the girls tonight though.
Have a wonderful day!
A little red, white and blue. Not exactly a 4th of July card, but I saw this card somewhere and decided I'd give it a try. The stamp is from Paper Inspirations - oval is nestabilities, butterfly is Martha Stewart punch.
Wow - I think summer has arrived in western Colorado! It has been down right hot the last couple of days. Kind of a shock to my system to go from temps in the 70's and 80's and cloudy days to 90's and sunshine!
Yard work today. Oh boy!
Happy stampin'
I used some of the new SU paper for this card - the printed paper is Razzleberry Lemonade - colors are Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, and Crushed Curry. I used the markers to ink the stamped image (Flowers in Silhouette). The saying is from Simply Said. I used the solid side of the Crushed Curry polka dot ribbon.Today I am going to finish up a project I started yesterday - I am taking all of the saying and sentiment stamps out of the SU sets and sorting them by birthday, thank you, etc. I've never seperated any of my SU sets, but decided there were sayings and sentiments tucked away that I never thought about. So........we'll see how this works.
Enjoy your day!

More new stuff - this card is done with another of the new hostess sets in the upcoming SU catalog. I inked the flowers with the crushed curry marker, then sponged a bit of dusty durango on the edges. I used markers to ink the stems (old olive) and berries (dusty durango).
Get to go to lunch with my friend Kim today - yea! Don't get to see her often enough, so I'm looking forward to it.
Enjoy your day!

This card is done with one of the hostess sets in the new SU catalog. The pot is made from a circle by cutting off a strip at the top and the bottom. Colors are kraft (the card) chocolate, riding hood red and artichoke.
Today - a lot of odds and ends to get done. (like laundry and bills) Nothing too exciting (or even fun)
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
More from the Happy Harmony (SU) set. Paper is from Delicate Dots (SU). Colors are saffron and celery.
Yesterday - wow! Fun! A birthday breakfast - yum! Stamping! A very cool Harley shirt (now I just need the Harley to go with it!!!) Much thanks Molly and Judy!!! Dinner at Red Lobster - yummy! More stamping! AND markers in the new SU in-colors, plus some of the new patterened paper - thank you Sherry!!! More stamping. What a great day!
Have a wonderful weekend.

The card - Stamp is from SU's Great Friend. Paper is from SU's Urban Garden. Colors are not quite navy, baja and kiwi.
Today is going to be a fun, fun day. Molly and Judy S are taking me out for a birthday breakfast, then back here for some stamping time. Sherry is taking me out for a birthday dinner this evening and then back here for even more stamping time! Now does that sound like a perfect kind of day or what?
Enjoy your day!
Used a favorite 'older' stamp for this card - SU's Happy Harmony. Colors are black and river rock.
Had a lovely, relaxing day yesterday - read a book, took a nap, Jeff took me to dinner at the new Smash Burger place (it was good, but Munchies is still my favorite) and came home and watched a movie.
Not sure what my plan is for today - have lots to do, not sure where to start. Class tonight.
Have a wonderful day!
A clean and simple card today. Stamp is from God's Beauty (SU). I used a blender pen, colored the butterfly with baja. Top is cuttlebug swiss dots, lines were done with the scor-pal.
I'm another year older today. Yep, today is my birthday. Except for going to get a hair cut this morning I have no idea what I'm going to do. I did have a lunch date, but it got changed, so I'm trying to decide what the heck to do with my day. I'm thinking it is a good day to spend in my stamp room. Or reading a book and taking a nap. Or............................? (maybe something wild and crazy)
Have a wonderful day.

A simple card using one of SU's new in-colors and a new stamp set (avaialable July 1) Oval is done with nestabilities.
Have household chores to get done today. I actually did get ambitious yesterday and worked on cleaning up the basement - now today it's time to work on the upstairs.
Enjoy your day.
The card - Stamps are from Verve. Colors are guava and black. Scalloped rectangle is Nestabilities. Pretty darn simple!
Oh my - I had another great "birthday" celebration last night. Deb & Emily took me to Munchies (my very favorite hamburger place) and then to Cold Stone Creamery. Oh yum! AND I have a stack of the new SU in-colors and matching ribbon sitting here to admire! Oh, and then my friend Celisa brought me some of that wonderful pie we had on Thursday night AND some of her husband's oh-so-yummy pizza to have for lunch today! Now how lucky can a girl get? And, it's not even my birthday yet!
I have no clue what I'm doing today. (except admiring my stack of paper and eating pizza) That just may be all I do today.
Enjoy your weekend!

A scrapbook page today! We got to watch Tracy play soccer the night we got to Indiana. The pictures aren't the best - digital is not the best for fast moving objects - but what the heck, it's about the memory, not the quality of the photos.
Today I have to get a project done for our Sheobox Club tonight. Um - guess I better to get to work on that!
Enjoy your day!

Not much stamping on this card. I used some printed paper (SU) for the background and added the die cut butterflies. (SU) Happy Birthday is from Papertrey Ink. Colors are baja and basic grey.
Today - have to go get stuff set up for class this morning, then some errands this afternoon and class again tonight. Busy day.
Happy stampin'

The card - Stamp set is God's Beauty (SU). Colors are old olive, and basic grey. I colored the butterfly with baja and the leaves with olive. Striped paper is from SU (Urban Garden)
Today - I am going to give multi-tasking a try. Need to water the lawn, do the laundry and bag 190 card kits for class. I should be able to handle all that, don't ya think?
Hope you are having a great weekend.
