Think I'm on the mend now.  The rash seems to be better today - not as red and not quite as itchy.  The Dr. thinks I had a reaction to the dye they used for the CT Scan in the hospital.  So I have to make sure if I ever have another one to tell them I'm allergic!  Looking forward to a nice, calm evening of Friday night stitching!!!

Back to the Dr today.  The swelling has gone down but the rash is much worse.  Good grief!  I hope they can figure this out - it's starting to itch and it's driving me nuts!

The card - stamped images are all from SU.  I stamped the flowers on the background in the same color as the card stock.  I used the same color on the flower on the banner.  The stamp actually has three steps for this flower but I only used the outline one for this card.  

Going to try and get a bit of housework done today - the laundry has piled up and the kitchen needs a bit of work.  The Dr gave me a prescription for the rash and swelling yesterday, said it could be a couple of things and we'd just have to wait and see.  Hopefully this first go around works :)

Sorry I've been missing for a few days.  Ended up in the hospital on Friday night with what turned out to be a small bowel obstruction.  Very painful!  But, I was lucky that it was taken care of without tubes or surgery - yay!  I came home yesterday, feel fine, except I'm a little tired - AND something they gave me in the hospital caused some kind of an allergic reaction and now my face is all swollen.  Have to call the Dr today.  Geez, what a mess I am :) Hopefully we can get the swollen thing taken care of and I will be back to normal soon!

The card - thanks to Judy S!  I used her idea for a calendar topper last fall and turned it into a card.  Hers was a bit different and I changed it a bit, but I loved the way it came out!

And the Broncos are on their way to the Super Bowl - woo hoo!!!!  I didn't get to see the game because we were on the road, but I did get to see one of the touchdowns when we stopped for lunch - that was fun!  Today we're on the final leg of the trip - we should be home this afternoon.
