The card - using more of the printed paper.  I tore the edges on the background piece and then sponged it a bit.  The small cutout pieces are popped up.  I also added some string and a bit of bling.

Celebrating Liam's 1/2 birthday today.  (he's 4 1/2 today!)   That means making cupcakes, a trip to Target to check out the lego aisle, dinner at McDonalds - just another fun-filled day!

Got a start on the chores yesterday, but ran out of energy before I finished.  Need to get out and put some fertilizer on the lawn this morning and trim some bushes before it gets too hot!

What a great beginning to my birthday month - wow!  My friend Celisa's husband made the main dish for dinner last night - oh so yummy.  And there was a great salad and fresh bread and yummy cupcakes for dessert.  And some awesome gifts - wow - it was an awesome night!  I have the best friends!

The card - I don't think this is one of my favorites, but it's a little different so we'll just go with it!  I stamped some grunge on the background of the small panel in different colors and then just stamped a flower outline over the top.  The sentiment and the grunge on the card background are also stamped with black.

Hudson and I are going to be out and about for a bit today.  Going to do a errand then off to visit my cousin who hasn't seen Hudson yet.  And....it's June.....and that means it's my birthday month!  And tonight is the first birthday celebration - yay!  Tonight is our Shoebox Club and we're celebrating my birthday - fun stuff!

The card - some more printed paper - this stuff is just so cool, especially for masculine cards.  It comes from a company called Pion Design and I got it locally at Seasons to Follow.

OMG I'm becoming addicted to daytime TV - especially HGTV.  Oh no!  I'm not much of a tv watcher to begin with, but I NEVER watch daytime tv.  I found myself watching Fixer Upper while I gave Hudson a bottle, then I just sat and watched it the rest of the day......now that is not good!

The card - ran across some very old stamps when I was sorting some stuff in the garage.  These are some old Tim Holtz stamps that I found.  The yellow is a couple of grunge stamps with the words stamped over the top.

The card - I found this great patterned paper that is wonderful for making cards.  I just cut this piece from the sheet, added a mat, some bling and a piece of decorative paper  - fast and easy!  

Looking forward to a visit from my son-in-law today.  He's been on a business trip in Denver and is coming over here to meet his new nephew.  A little bittersweet, as this trip was planned way last fall and Tracy was supposed to be with him.  The last few days have been hard emotionally - I miss her so much!  But, Hudson will be here today - yay!  And everyone will be here for dinner tonight so it will be good.

The card - a good way to use up some scraps of paper - center panel is just strips of different widths glued to a white panel and matted with black.  The panel is popped up on the card.  Add a sentiment and you're done!

The plans I had for today got changed and now I have no idea what I'm going to do.   I better come up with something, otherwise I will end up wasting the entire day! That wouldn't be good!

Sara is going back to work today and I will be doing day care two days a week - Mondays and Fridays.  Today will be my first day.  I'm looking forward to spending these two days a week with my Grandson on a regular basis!
