Project Sunday - a wall hanging I made for a birthday gift.

I ended up with an unexpected afternoon with Hudson yesterday so didn't get any of the things done that I had planned on - and that is entirely ok.  I did finish a wool project last night and started binge watching a new series that a friend loaned me, so all is good!   Today I may have Hudson again for the afternoon, so haven't really made any other plans....I'm good with that :)

Yesterday didn't end up quite as planned, as Sara got called into work and I ended up with Hudson after all.  We spent some time with his other Grandma and had a fun day!  But, the chores I had planned on doing certainly didn't get done - I may be able to get a few done this morning, but will be spending the afternoon at Hi Fashion stitching (more fun anyway!)

Whew!  Have to say I'm rather glad the holidays are over.  I had a wonderful time and loved every minute, but I'm ready for some 'regular' life!  I have one goal for this coming year and that is to 'FOCUS"!  I haven't done well at that for the last couple of years, which was only to be expected, but I'm feeling the need to be a little more in control and I have a lot of things I want to accomplish (crafty things mostly!)  So, today I must focus and get started on a long list of things I want to get done!  (or at least make a plan!)

Today is lunch with a friend and a last minute errand or two.  Tonight is our tradional dinner out and then driving around to look at Christmas lights.

The card - this card is SO much prettier in real life.  The doily snowflake is silver as is the ribbon.  I used smoky slate for the background mar and the stamping.  The picture just doesn't do it justice!

A day of last minute chores - finishing up a couple of stitching projects for gifts, making a couple more batches of peanut brittle, wrapping a few gifts etc.  We were supposed to get some huge snow storm overnight, but it's a bit wet outside at my house but there's no snow.  Hmmmmm.

'Grandma time' today - babysitter is still sick.  I didn't actually end up with him yesterday because Sara didn't get called to work.  I took advantage of the free day and made 4 batches of peanut brittle and worked on some stitched Christmas gifts.  Yay!
