The card - background panel is embossed.  Smaller panel is die cut with a seperate piece for the insert.  The image is stamped once on the small insert and then again on a seperate piece.  On the seperate piece I colored the flowers and leaves just a bit and then cut the flower image out and popped it up on top of the small insert piece.

Need to get the kids ready for school/daycare,  deliver them and then my day is free until I have to pick Jeff up at the airport later this afternoon!   No big plans, just a day to regroup I guess.

What a fun day we had yesterday!  Lunch at Davetos, shopping at the new Hobby Lobby in Montrose - which is bigger than ours and still has that 'new smell'!  Found some paper, die cuts and even a stamp that I just had to have :)  It was a great day!  Today it's school taxi this morning, errands and then some free time before I pick the boys up from school and then they're spending the night!

Photo Sunday -  Hudson and I played a LOT of games this last week.  Sorry was a favorite of mine when I was a kid, now it's one of Hudson's favorites!    Ethan loves his chocolate treats!    It was a great spring break week!

Today - I think I'm due for a bit of r & r.  Reading and napping are definitely on the agenda!  Maybe a trip to the grocery store.  We'll see!

Last day of Spring Break.  I have so enjoyed this week with Hudson.  We don't get get much one on one time these days, so this week has been pretty special.  Today we're planning on some more outdoor time - another trip to a different part of the river front trail and maybe lunch at Freddies.

The card - I spent most of the day on Saturday playing with this stamp!  It was fun AND productive!   I stamped the image with dark green on a lighter green cardstock.  Then I colored just the flowers with white using white craft ink and a blender brush.  That's it.  Easy Peasy!

'Grandma time' with both boys today.  It's Ethan's regular day but Hudson will be spending the week here because there's no school - it's Spring Break!

'Grandma time' with Hudson today.  We haven't had time for just the two of us in a long time!  He was pretty funny last night (we had a sleepover) when we were starting our movie - he said, 'Grandma, we can be as noisy as we want!'  I seem to always be telling him to be quiet when Ethan is sleeping :)  It's supposed to snow so it looks like an indoor day - when I ask him what we were going to do he said 'play games ALL day!'.  So, on to breakfast and then games!
