The card - another new stamp set!  I stamped the image and the sentiment on the panel and then colored the flower image with Stampin Blends.  Then I embossed the entire panel.  

More 'Grandma time' with both boys today.  And I thought it was going to be back to 'normal' this week.  LOL.  (That's what I get for thinking!)  It's all good, but I'm not getting much done :)

I did get a bit of stamping done yesterday, but then Ethan got sent home from day care again so I had him all afternoon.   Gosh, I hope they get this figured out soon.  I love having him, but the poor kid needs his regular routine!  So, now I will have both boys today.  Today was supposed to be Hudson's 'Grandma day', now he'll share with Ethan.  Kind of threw a kink in out plans to go to the movie!  Hmmm....rethinking, rethinking!

Photo Sunday - I love walks along the beach!  (this is Huntington Beach, CA)

I was very productive yesterday - felt good to do something physical.  The lawn is mowed, the flowers are trimmed, the house is clean and the laundry is done!  Woohoo!  Now today I am looking forward to an entire day of stamping with a couple of friends.  It's been so long I'm not sure I'll remember how!   Hopefully it will all come back to me!  lol.

It's still a bit crazy around here.  Ethan was sent home from day care again - the health department is involved and they can't seem to figure out what the problem is that is going around.  So, he'll be here for the time being until it is cleared up.  Love having him, but this is not exactly what I had planned for this week!  LOL.

Not sure what the plan is today.. It's supposed to be Hudson's 'Grandma day' but Ethan may be here too.  Go with the flow needs to be my motto these days!

I'm home - and I must say, traveling (flying) these days is a real adventure.  After cancelled flights (had to stay an extra night) and delays it was a real relief to finally arrive home.  But, I had a wonderful time!  So all is well!  Now it's back to real life and all it entails.  Today, it entails some unexpected 'Grandma time' with Ethan.  Which is good.......but, I must rethink my plans for the day.  And so it goes.......😂

Project Sunday - my friend Ann (a part of our Needle Keepers group) made this cute little sleeping bag for a doll.  I don't have a doll in the house so I used this little stuffed lamb for the picture - isn't this just the cutest thing?  

My stamping day yesterday didn't end up being much of a stamping day - got totally sidetracked (I'm quite good at that!).  I did get other stuff done though.  But, I'm going to try again today - I have class projects to finish up!

The card - I was trying to work on some 'guy cards' yesterday.  Got a few done, but wasn't as productive as I hoped.  The background is embossed.  The smaller panel is a die cut.  The background of the die cut is stamped with a background stamp in different colors.  I used the same colors for the strips behind the panel.  The globe image is stamped in black across  the panel.  Added a sentiment at the bottom.

'Grandma time' with Ethan again today.  Mostly because Jeff is going to come and take out some very old bushes I have in the yard.  It's going to look a bit bare for awhile because I have no idea what's going to replace them.  But, that's the job for today!

Since the temps are supposed to jump back up to the 80's I think it's time to dig out the short sleeve shirts and the flip flops.  Also need to mow the lawn.  Sounds like enough to keep me busy today!
