April 16, 2008 was my very first post on this blog.  I can't believe I've been doing this for 16 years today!!!    Wow!  I've posted over 4,000 cards and some other misc stuff.  Amazing!  I hope the card ideas are helpful, but I also use this as a sort of journal of my life.  I hope you don't mind the bits and pieces of my personal life.  (what there is of it 😂)  So, for now, there will be more to come!  

Chores this morning including baking a birthday cake.  We're celebrating a birthday for one of the Needle Keepers this afternoon.  Then it's on to card class tonight.  A full day!

Project Sunday - a couple of towels I did for a friend for her birthday.  I'm addicted to this stitching technique (Sashiko) that I learned in the last embroidery class!

No big plans today.  Well, except I somehow got talked into going to help the boys decorate easter eggs.  Not sure how that happened.  So, a trip to the store this morning for some supplies and then on to decorating eggs!  Hopefully I will have time this afternoon to get some things ready for dinner tomorrow. :)

Project Sunday - a finished project!  Finally finished the embroidery on this towel last night!  My embroidery stitches definitely need work.  Practice!  Practice!  Practice!  (and that's why I'm taking a class :)

I was pretty productive yesterday.  Stamped most of the day, stitched a bit last night.  I still have some sewing projects to do so I'm thinking that's what I'm going to work on today.

Photo Sunday - from spring to winter....yep, I live in Colorado!

My plan for yesterday didn't work out quite like I expected, but it was even better.  Went to lunch with a friend and then we came back and  did some stitching and watched a movie.  (The Boys in the Boat - loved it!)  It was a great day, plus I actually felt good about getting something done.  Still thinking about what to do today - not going out, too cold and wet.  But can't quite decide between stamping, stitching or sewing!
