Whew - sorry for the really late post - my internet has been out since this morning - yikes!  It's amazing how much I rely on my internet - and I haven't had a phone connection either.  I've been disconnected.....  Luckily I've kept busy getting ready for an event I'm having tonight - lots of baking going on so we'll have yummy desserts :)

The card - stamped images are from SU.  The flower is stamped on the white piece in black and the stem is colored with green.  I stamped the flower again on watermelon and cut the flower part out and popped it up on top.  The black and white strip is washi tape.

I did get a bit of stamping done yesterday and I think I'll try to get a bit more done today.  I have an event tomorrow night that I need to make dessert for, so I need to figure that out and go to the grocery store too.

The card - butterfly and leaves are from SU.  I used a brick embossing folder for the background - to get the color I rubbed a tan ink pad over the inside of the folder before I ran it through.

I haven't gotten very far on my stamping..... maybe I can get some done today before I have to get ready for tonight's class.

Project Sunday - finished this table mat just last night.  This one is rather large and has lots of detail on it so it has taken me a bit longer.

The card - flower and leaves are from SU.  They are stamped with black on colored card stock (flower is lagoon, leaves are mossy meadow).  The flower is then punched out, the leaves are cut out.  The flower is popped up. 

Not sure what direction I'm going today.  It's been a busy week and today I find that I have a free day.  Oh my!  The laundry is done and the house is clean so I guess I can do whatever the heck I like :)  Looking forward to Friday night crafting though.  And tonight is football - yay!  Go Broncos!

Whew, I'm tired this morning.  We had quite the day yesterday.  Turned into a 12 hour drive and then I didn't sleep very well last night.  But, oh gosh, we saw some awesome scenery.  I can hardly wait to go through the pictures - which I'm hoping to do today.  I do have to get ready for class tonight but it should be an easy day - thank goodness!
