The card - the stamps and die cut are from SU.  I borrowed this set from my friend Emily and I am having a lot of fun playing with it.  So many things you can do with it   (it's called Swirly Bird)

Going to try and get a little more stamping done today before I have to clean things up for class tonight.  Hoping I can be productive!

The card - stamped images are from SU  (this is the same set from yesterday)  The background is done with a square, clear block.  I inked up the block just like a stamp and then just stamped it on the white background piece.  

A full day today - stitching at Hi Fashion this morning and early afternoon......  then an early dinner out with a friend and then some 'Grandma time' while the kids go to a surprise birthday party!  I shouldn't be bored today!!!

Nothing like getting woke up at 3:30 am from a break in the sprinkler system....gallons of water gushing all over and I didn't have a clue what to do.  All I could manage was to shut off the sprinklers which didn't help!  Yikes!  Had to wake Jeff up and he had to come and shut the darn thing off.  Hmmm.... I guess I should have known how to do that but nobody showed me!  Just a little excitement during the night - glad it's a quiet day and I should be able to work in a nap at some point :)

Photo Saturday - wildflowers on Grand Mesa

Time to get serious about the class projects.  I am not leaving the house today and plan on stamping the entire day.  Well, til later this afternoon, because I get a little extra 'Grandma time' today while the kids go to dinner - yay!

The card - flowers are from SU.  Added a doily, some string and a sentiment.  The flowers were colored by using one of the smaller stamps in the set. 

Well......I had about the worst 'blonde senior moment' yesterday.  We changed the date of our Shoebox Club and I forgot to write it on my calendar - oops!  The worst part was, we were celebrating birthdays and I was cooking dinner - oops!  I was oblivious until one of the ladies called mid-afternoon to ask if I needed anything - oh my!  I actually managed to go to the grocery store, pick up the house, cook dinner, get gifts together and have dinner on the table on time - wow!  It was just pure luck that Celisa called because they would have all shown up to no dinner and I very well could have been lounging around in my pj's!  Good grief!

Today is 'Grandma time' so I am going to just enjoy my day and look forward to Friday night crafting!

I ended up with an unexpected free day today.  I really need to make the most of it since I didn't get anything done yesterday - well, I did get some errands done, but no stamping.  So, today's goal is to stay home and get the class projects done!
