Project Sunday - my friend Nancy brought her finished piece for show and tell to our Needle Keepers group this week. A beautiful piece!

First plan of the day is to run up to the Farmer's Market and replace my stash of peaches!  Then, I'm planning on stamping today.....(going to use some of those supplies - lol)

The card - used the same embossing folder as yesterday on this one.  I embossed the piece of cardstock and then took my white ink pad and just ran it lightly across the top. Added a sentiment and some ribbon.  Super easy!  

My plans for today keep changing so I'm not sure what I'm doing today.  Looking forward to getting together with friends Emily and Deb tonight though to work on calendar toppers.

The card - another new embossing folder and die cut!  This is a fun one.  The die cut matches the embossing folder so it cuts out all the stems.  I embossed first and then die cut the images out, but I watched a video where the lady put the die inside the embossing folder and did both at the same time.  Anyway, however you choose to do it, it's a pretty fun one.  Lots of possibilities with this!  So, the background on this card is just embossed.  The circle on top is die die and then I embossed another sheet and die cut the images out and used just a few of them on top of the circle.  (die and folder are from SU)

Never did get the laundry done yesterday, so guess that should be my first item of business today!  Not much else going on til tonight when I have class.  Maybe a few errands!  We'll see.

The card - background is embossed.  The larger octagon is die cut, stamped with a bit of grunge, matted and then I added a stamped, die cut flower.  The smaller octagons are punched out of patterned paper.  A strip of patterned paper at the bottom, some twine and a sentiment stamped, punched out and popped up.

A pretty free day today.  Need to do some laundry but that's about it for chores.  I have to have a calendar topper done by Friday so I guess I better try to get that figured out today!

Time to do some housework this morning.  Then I can spend a nice relaxing afternoon with the Needle Keepers.  Yay!   I've missed them the last couple of weeks so I'm looking forward to catching up with them all!

The card - playing with some new leaves.  These leaves are from Tim Holtz and they cut and emboss all at the same time.  These I cut out of patterned paper and added a gold die cut sprig and some gold ribbon.  The left side is a SU die cut I sued for a border.

Aw, can't believe how fast this boy is growing up!  He loved his first week of 1st Grade and was excited that his 'best buds' were in his class again!  

Time to finish up the class stuff for this coming week.  That's my biggest goal for the day!

I guess I should finish up some stuff I started yesterday.  I did get a bit of stamping done, but I kept getting sidetracked and didn't get as much done as I hoped.  But some is better than nothing, right?  Maybe I can stay focused today!

The card - I die cut a rectangle from a piece of cardstock and used the opening as a mask to sponge the area on the background piece.  I inked the flower stamp using sponge daubers and stamped the image on the sponged area.  Added the sentiment on the side.  The panel was embossed after all the stamping was done.

Need to do some yard work this morning and then it's time to get to work on class projects.  Somehow class time has snuck up on me (it's next week already!) and I haven't even started figuring out the projects - oops!

The card - a super easy one!  The background is patterned paper.  The big flower on the smaller panel is hand cut from another piece of patterned paper.  The small panel is embossed and matted.  The flower and the sentiment piece are popped up.

Off to a couple of appointments and then ????  Hudson's first day of 1st grade and Ethan is at day care.  Oh my, I think it's going to seem kind of quiet around here!  I don't even have a plan :)    I'm sure I'll think of something!!

One last 'Grandma day' with Hudson before school starts tomorrow.  Can't believe he's going to be in 1st Grade!  Time is going by so fast!

The card - background is embossed.  Leaf and sentiment are stamped directly on the background piece.  I inked the leaf stamp with green and then used a dauber to add brown to the stems and a bit of darker green to the edges of the leaf.

The card - background is patterned paper.  I colored just one of the flowers, and added some twine.  The sentiment piece is stamped, die cut and then matted with the same color as the flower.  Super simple.

More 'Grandma time' today.  We didn't really make plans for today, so we'll see what we come up with.

The card - background is patterned paper.  Tag is die cut from patterned paper and stamped with the sentiment in several places.  The leaf stem is stamped with navy blue on navy blue cardstock and then die cut and popped up.
