Have a
Frightfully
Fun
Day!
Happy Halloween
The card - stamp is from Inkadinkado. Colors are kraft and black.
Brrrr- it's cold! But I have to say I'm glad I'm on the western side of Colorado - at least we didn't get 15 inches of snow like they did in Denver - yuk!
Not sure what I'm working on today, but I am looking forward to 'play time' with Sherry & Emily tonight!
Stay warm - and enjoy your day!
A little bit of Halloween today - stamp is from SU - printed paper is from Basic Grey.
More snow? Geez, you'd think it was winter around here. Looking at the weather though, it is supposed to be nice and in the 60's again next week - thank goodness.
Went to the grocery store yesterday, so today I can stay home and be creative. Need to get to work on layouts for scrap class next week.
Have a wonderful day!

The card - images are from Autumn Days (SU) Colors are rust, chocolate, mustard. Printed paper is from Autumn Meadows (SU). The large scallops at the bottom are made with a new punch I got in Delta - love it!
Didn't get much done yesterday, so I need to get back in the groove today. Good day to stay indoors anyway - although I really need to go to the grocery store.
Have a great day!
The card - I was digging around in a drawer with some very old stamps in it and found this stamp from Magenta. Thought I would ink it up and see what I could do with it. A simple card, but it was fun. I stamped the image in black and colored it with a blender pen - used soft suede, dusty durango and olive.
Have a lot of odds and ends to get done today - finish the laundry, clean up my stamp room, and get the class area cleaned up for class tonight.
Have a wonderful day!
The card - images are from Trendy Trees (SU) Card is kraft with strips of chocolate, mustard, olive and rust. Fall saying is from CTMH.
It's feeling more like winter outside this morning than fall......brrrr. But it's supposed to be a sunny day, just on the cool side.
I felt like a hermit this weekend - holed up in my work room. But I got a lot accomplished and that feels good. I'm on a roll, so maybe it will carry over for a few more days.
Enjoy your day!
Scrapping Sunday - these are pictures from our trip to the Gateway car museum in August.
I spent all day in my work room yesterday and got two 6 x 6 books done for class projects - wow! That doesn't happpen often (actaully I don't think it's ever happened before!) Today I am going to try and get some chores done and maybe work on some more class projects.
Karen asked what my favorite thing was that I got from my retail therapy on Friday - man, that's a hard one! I can't pick just one, but my favorite two things are probably the photo display stand from 7 gypsies and the printers tray (also from 7 gypsies) I can hardly wait to do something with them. There's also some new embellishments from Tim Holtz (I seem to collect that stuff - really need to start using it!) And of course paper - and it goes on and on!
Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!

A photo today - haven't really had a chance to go anywhere to take fall pictures, so decided I'd have to make do with something from my back yard. It's amazing that I still have roses that are blooming! So, I caught a bit of summer and fall together.
I kind of over did it on the 'retail therapy' yesterday. Judy was much more restrained than I was! But I do have an abundance of new stuff to play with!
Hope your weekend is off to a grand start!
The card - just got this tree stamp from Just for Fun and had to play with it. Background on vanilla piece is script stamp from Glitz. Trees are stamped with soft suede. Card is kraft. Happy Birthday is from Papertrey.
I think Judy S and I are going to Delta this morning - at least we talked about it earlier in the week. I hope that is still the plan - shopping at The Scrappy Moose and lunch sounds good to me! Then stamping with Deb, Sherry and Emily tonight. A fun-filled day for me! Yea!
Happy stampin'
The card - used an 'oldie, but goodie' stamp for this one - Lovely as a Tree (SU) Image is stamped with soft suede on vanilla top note die. Card is kraft.Think I will try to get a little clean-up work done in the yard this afternoon. One more watering before my sprinklers are winterized and then I will be pretty much be finished with yard work for the year - oh yea!
Here is where I found the instructions for the side-step card from yesterday. If you put 'side-step card' in the search box on the left it will take you to the instructions.
Have a wonderful day.

The card - decided I'd try one of these 'side step cards'. Kind of fun! The flower pot was made from an oval, leaves are a die cut (SU). Stamp is Inkadinkado.
Have to go get a hair cut today, then do a few errands. I'm hoping I will be motivated to get started on some class projects this afternoon.
Enjoy your day!
Here's another layout I did during my scrapping spree this last week.
The birthday party yesterday was great fun - saw most of Chuck's family that I hadn't seen in a long time. And it was a great day to be outside enjoying the beautiful fall weather!
Today I will be at Kim's helping her with some last minute packing for her move to Oregon.
Happy scrappin'

The card - leaves are from Autumn Splendor (SU) - stamped and embossed with gold on chocolate. Background is chocolate with mustard accent.
Jeff & I are going to a 90th birthday celebration this afternoon - my late husband's brother-in-law. Amazing guy - still does more at 90 than I did at 50! It will be fun!
Have a wonderful weekend!
The card - this layout is one Dorene did with us at a recent Close to My Heart get together. I was trying to copy her card, but that didn't work out so well. ( I didn't have the same stuff) This is what I ended up with. Swirl stamp is from Papertrey. Give thanks is CTMH. Colors are durango, soft suede and kraft.
I am taking a 'fun day' today! Yea! Judy S and I are going to breakfast (a treat for me - I hardly ever go out for breakfast!) Then back here for some stamping fun! Then tonight dinner with Deb, Sherry and Kim and more stamping! Now, does that sound like a fun day or what? But I have to get in gear and get my room cleaned up - it's a bit of a mess from my 2-day scrapping spree.
Happy stampin'
Since I still have photos all over the table, I think I will try to get a few more pages done today.
Happy scrappin'

The card - clean & simple for sure! The leaf is from Autumn Splendor (SU) Stamped with versamark, embossed with gold on rust paper. Sentiment is from CTMH. Colors are rust, chocolate and vanilla.
Nothing pressing that just has to be done today so..............I think I'm going to try and get some scrapbooking done.
Enjoy your day!
Sad to see the Rockies lost last night - darn! I don't follow baseball too much until the World Series, but was hoping the Rockies would make it this year!
Off to get things set up for class this morning, then a bit of a break before class again tonight. Busy day.
Happy stampin'

The card - background on panel is a script stamp then I just added some leaves in baja and chocolate. Pretty easy, but a bit of a different look.
The cards for class are done - cut and bagged and ready for class - Whew! Glad that job is done. I think I will try to get a bit of housework done today - I never finished the laundry last week - oops - and the crumbs need to be swept up off the kitchen floor, etc, etc. I do have Stamp Club tonight with Deb to look forward to though.
Have a wonderful day!
How 'bout those Broncos, huh? 5-0 - wow!
