The card - stamped images are from SU.  Colors are white, riding hood red and artichoke.

Getting there - got the upstairs decorated yesterday - today I will have to get the basement cleaned up and start getting ready for my Christmas card class event which is tomorrow night.  (hence the need for getting the decorations up this early).

Enjoy your day!

Progress!  The outside Christmas decorations are done - now I guess it's time to get the inside done.

Have a great day!

The card - stamped images are from Unity.  Colors are kraft, artichoke and cherry cobbler.  I embossed the background after I stamped the 'joy'.  The tree is cut out and popped up.

How about those Broncos?  Another win and in overtime no less.  I might become a Tebow fan after all - well...... maybe!    One more class project to do this morning  and then hopefully I will at least get the outside Christmas decorations done this afternoon - at least that's my plan.

Have a wonderful day!

The card - stamped image is from SU.  Colors are kraft and riding hood red.

A little football today and some stamping with my friend Judy S.  Oh yes, it will be a good day!   I made a lot of progress on class stuff yesterday, but the Christmas decorations still aren't up.  Oh well, there's always tomorrow :)

Enjoy your day!

Photo Saturday - a bit of fall color

Finishing up one set of class projects this morning and then maybe I'll get started on the Christmas decorations this afternoon.  Loving the nice sunny days we're having, but it sure doesn't do much to put me in the Christmas mood.  Maybe some holiday music will help :)

Enjoy your day!

The card - sentiment is from Tim Holtz.  Background is half of the brick embossing folder from Tim Holtz.  I inked the folder lightly to make it stand out a bit more. Leaves are punched from Tim Holtz paper.

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday.  I certainly did.  Although neither of my kids were here, my friends made the day special and so much fun!     Today I am trying to decide between putting up the Christmas decorations or working on class projects - both of which need to be done.   I'm really not quite ready for the Christmas decorations yet, so I'm leaning more towards the latter option.  We'll see.

Have a wonderful day!

The card - leaves are from Hero Arts and SU.  Sentiment is from Hero Arts.  Colors are suede, mustard and pool party.

Have errands to do this morning - just a couple of last minute items for dinner tomorrow.  Then it's time to get some housework done.  Looking forward to a day of fun, food and great company tomorrow.

Have a wonderful day!

The card - stamped word image is from Hero Arts.  The leaf is punched out of some Tim Holtz paper, sprayed with some water and wadded up.  Colors are kraft, espresso and vanilla.

Working on class projects today.  I thought I was so far ahead there for awhile, now it seems there's a whole lot of class projects that need to be done all at the same time - how did that happen?

Enjoy your day!

The card - images are from SU.  The saying was printed on the computer using SU's MDS.  The leaf was stamped on vanilla using espresso and then I sponged some mustard on it.  Leaf embossing folder on the background is from Hobby Lobby.  Colors are suede, espresso and vanilla.

Oh my, the beginning of another week! and Thanksgiving week at that!  I'm losing time here....not a good thing.  Still trying to figure out this new computer - getting there, but it's definitely a process.  Need to get things cleaned up and organized downstairs and get ready for class tonight.  It's going to be a busy week!

Have a wonderful day.

The card - a very simple one today.  This is a matching stamp and embossing folder.  I stamped the image with kraft (on kraft paper) and then lined it up in the embossing folder - rather a cool effect.  I did discover it is a bit bigger so in order to have a top layer to wrap my ribbon around I had to make this a 5 x 7 card.

Going to try for a stamping day  - I'm feeling a little discombomulated with all the out of the ordinary things that have been going on around here - I think I need a day to do something ordinary and hopefully  be productive at the same time :)

Enjoy your day!

Photo Saturday - this is one of my favorite photos from the wedding.  Jeff's best man bought them this cool tandem cruiser bike for a wedding gift.

Crop day today with the Good Time Girls.  Yay!  I'm hoping to get most of the wedding guest book finished today.

Have a great day!

The card -  stamps are from SU.  I inked the stamp with kraft, then sponged some dusty durango here and there before stamping.  Colors are kraft, durango and vanilla.

I apologize for the late post today - my computer was dead this morning.  And I do mean dead.  So, my son & I have spent the day trying to get this new one set up.  Wow - what a time consuming process.  I still have lots to do and figure out, but I'm at least making some progress with it.  My son has gone home so now I'm on my own - we'll see how that works out!

Have a wonderful day!

The card - stamped image is from SU.  Colors are kraft, cajun, mustard and not quite navy.

Errands this morning and then I need to get things ready for my class tonight.

Enjoy your day!

The card - not much stamping here.  Sentiment is from CTMH.  Colors are cajun, olive, kraft and mustard.  I sprayed the die cut leaves with water, then wadded them up to give them a little more texture.

Need to work on some class stuff today.  And do some laundry......and pick up some of the mess that somehow has spread to almost every room in the house (not sure how that happens).

Have a great day!

Tuesday, November 15, 2011

The card - leaves are from Hero Arts.  Flower is a die cut, center is a McGill punch.  Colors are olive, espresso and mustard.

Making progress on my 'to do list' for this week.  Yay!  Now if I can just keep the momentum going!

Enjoy the day!

The card - stamped image is from SU. Sentiment is from CTMH.  I colored the basket of pears with copics.  Although it doesn't show up well in the photo the basket is on a vanilla circle, layered on another vanilla circle.Colors are wasabi, espresso and vanilla.

I have a long list of things I want to get done this week so I guess I better decide what to start with and get to it.

Have a wonderful day!

He never ceases to amaze me!  This is my son Jeff in his Halloween costume.  He looked online and found a picture of the outfit he wanted from Star Wars, and with only a picture to go by, went to the store and purchased the material and then proceeded to sew up this costume.  How cool is that?  (I certainly could not have done it - I have to have a pattern and step by step instructions for anything like that!)   I forgot to ask him how he managed to make his hair and beard gray - it's normally light brown.

Aw....what to do today.......  not sure.  Probably should do some laundry.   Will probably watch some football (and hope for the best for the Broncos!)  Maybe get some stamping done.   Can you tell I don't really have a plan for the day?

Enjoy your day!

A stamping day today - Judy S is coming over and we have plans to get a lot of stamping done!  Yes!  Life is good!

The card - stamped images are from SU.  I inked the background leaves with artichoke and then sponged a bit of mustard on top before stamping.  The card is mustard, circle is vanilla and background newsprint is from SU. (didn't notice the crooked ribbon until I posted this - not sure how that happened)

A little plug today for some friends - if you are local and haven't been to Seasons to Follow you need to check it out!  It's a locally owned shop on Main Street (just east of 6th St).  It's my favorite place to shop for gifts and things for my house.  Now they are  adding some scrapbooking/card making classes and supplies to the store.  Michelle Hahn is teaching classes and doing crops.  They have a very small amount of supplies, but I managed to find some very cool paper and embellishments to buy.  So, go check it out.

It's been a long and busy week and I am so looking forward to a fun and relaxing stamping evening with my friends tonight!

Enjoy your day!
