The card - stamped image is from Penny Black. The printed paper is from a 6 x 6 Authentique pad. I used some pumpkin and baja to ink the stamp, and the image is matted with pumpkin.

It's time to get to work on class projects again. That's my goal for today. Then we have applique class tonight - this is the last one in this series - I'll finally learn how to finish the back of all these projects I have started :)

The card - stamped image is from SU.  I inked the stamp with markers, then stamped, then used the SU oval embossing folder.  I punched the shape out with a marvy scallop punch, then added another scallop punch as a mat.  The ribbon is attached between the two layers.  Colors are coral, pear and white.

So, the city has started work on a section of land just south of my house....they are turning a nice grassy area into a parking lot.  Ok, I had prepared myself for the dust and dirt and the noise of construction vehicles.......found I really can't hear the vehicles running, but you know that beeping sound they make when they back up.....omg...it's VERY loud!  And VERY annoying.  And it goes on all day long!   Think I could sue for 'extreme mental distress'?  Probably not.  So, I turn the radio up very loud and stay at the other end of the house as much as possible - luckily that is where my stamp room is :)

The card - image is from SU's MDS - I printed it out then used SU's new labels dies to cut out the shape and did a little coloring on the flowers and leaves.  Colors are basic grey, daffodil, black and white.

Went down to the basement yesterday, took one look at the stuff that needs to be done, got overwhelmed and decided it was a job for another day..... I do have to at least get it a little picked up today since I have class tonight :)

The card - sentiment is from Hero Arts, butterfly is a combination of 2 dies from SU.  An easy card and a good way to use up some scraps.  Colors are white, kraft, pirouette pink, limeade and pool party.

Photo Saturday - the sunrise yesterday - rather interesting.......

I had planned on spending the day cleaning up the basement.......seem to have lost the momentum for that at this point.  We'll see, maybe the mood will strike again.  If not, there's always stamping or stitching to do :)

The card - butterfly is from SU, sentiment is Papertrey.  I stamped a script background in black, then punched it out and attached it to the embossed oval from SU.  The embossed oval is punched out with a scallop punch from Marvy.  Colors are baja and white.

Time to get a little housework done..... but that's ok because I have Friday night crafting with Deb to look forward to!

The card - flower stamp is from Magenta.  I inked the stamp with makers then stamped it on some newsprint paper from My Minds Eye (I'm lovin' those 6 x 6 pads with smaller print!).  Colors are ruby red and olive.  Sentiment is from Papertrey (stamped in black).

Back to the paper work today - hopefully I can get it finished and move on to something a little more fun (like stampin' or stitichin :)

Photo Saturday - it was a beautiful day for a drive over the monument yesterday.....windows down, sun roof open, music blasting.....made lots of stops to take photos.

The Good Time Girls are coming today ...... it will be fun, as always.  I'm going to work on wedding invites .....here's hoping for a productive day!

The card - another one with this tree stamp from Northwoods.  I embossed the trees in black, then masked off the top and bottom and sponged over the trees with Tim Holtz distress inks. 

Working on wedding invites this morning.  Then I am going to get in my car, roll the windows down, open the sun roof and take a drive and enjoy this beautiful weather we are having.  It's just too nice to waste being indoors...........

The card - this is the card I did for our shoebox club last week.  Tulip stamp is from Hero Arts, sentiment is $1 stamp from Michael's.  Colors are limeade, peach, kraft and vanilla.

Hopefully I will get more accomplished today than I did yesterday.....that shouldn't take much effort since I somehow got through the day without accomplishing much of anything.   Have a lot that needs to be done so we'll hope that I can be a bit more productive today.
