Just wanted to share this for anyone who is local and interested in having a fun and creative day!

Project Sunday - this is the Halloween 12 x 12 framed piece that we did in class last week.  All the parts and pieces were printed in SU's MDS, cut out and added to the background piece.

Yard work and class projects....those are the things I am going to concentrate on this week.   Not sure which I'm going to start on today, maybe I can do a little of both :)

Have a great day!

The card - not a lot of stamping on this one.  The background is stamped with a splatter stamp from SU, sentiment is also SU.  The leaves are punched out and then wadded up.  Colors are cajun, espresso and mustard.

Need to get some things finished up this morning, going to a movie this afternoon and then some craftin' time with Emily tonight.  .......poor Deb is still sick so we will be crafting without her tonight :(

Enjoy your day!

The card - stamped images are from SU.  Colors are white, gumball green and midnight muse.   The flower is cut out and popped up.

I have a totally free day today...oh my...and I'm not really sure what I'm doing.  It's still a bit wet from the rain so I guess I probably won't be doing any yard work.  Still need to get class projects done though, so I think that will be my focus today.

Have wonderful day!

The card - stamped images are all from Hero Arts.  Leaves are stamped with limeade and basic gray, sentiment is stamped in black.

More rain means no yard work today either.  We certainly need the rain so it's a good thing I guess....just kind of threw my schedule for this week out of whack.  (not that I really mind all that much :)  So, today I'm going to try and get some work done on class projects for next month....holy cow....can you believe that next week is the first of Ocober?

Enjoy your day!

The weekend was awesome (Thank you Sherry!!) and it was so nice to get away, but now it's back to real life.  I was going to get some yard work done today, but the rain has kind of put a kink in those plans.  Guess I will regroup and see what I can come up with......and I guess I better find time to get stuff ready for class tonight too :)

Enjoy your day!

Project Sunday - a small oval Christmas table mat.

Whew - we had a full day of shopping yesterday.  A very nice quilt show, it was pretty big, lots of beautiful stuff.  I watched Sherry and Deb spend their money this time!  Then it was on to a couple of quilt stores and then to my favorite wool store, where Deb & Sherry watched me spend my money :)  Oh yes, another nice stash of beautiful pieces of wool to take home and add to my collection plus a nice little pile of new patterns to work on.  A great day!  Today is a stay-at-home day.....planning on getting lots of stitching done.

Have a beautiful day!

Photo Saturday - on Vail Pass

We're here in the booming metropolis of Ault, Colorado.  The drive over was beautiful - Vail Pass was absolutely gorgeous!   I would have taken more pictures, but I was driving  :)

Today we're off to a quilt show at the Boulder County Fair Grounds, then on to a quilt shop and then, of course, to a wool shop.  Fun!!!!!

Have a wonderful day!

The card - I was trying out some different layouts for  this birthday cake stamp.  I embossed the edge of the card with the big dots and then scored two lines next to that.  Added some ribbon and matching brads...nice and simple.

And we're off.....well, as soon I get my clothes packed and all the crafty stuff together.  Deb and I are on our way to the eastern slope today to see our friend Sherry.  Woo hoo!

Enjoy your day!

Chores, laundry and errands this morning  and then class tonight.  Need to get everything done so I will be ready for our trip tomorrow.

Have a great day!

The card - leaf stamp is from Creative Impressions.  This is a stamp I've had for a very long time and because I love the aspen leaves I dig it out and try to use it every year.  Colors are vanilla and more mustard.

I've got quite the list of things to do in the next couple of days.  Deb & I are leaving on Friday to go see our friend Sherry on the eastern slope so I need to get myself organized :)  But this afternoon I have a movie date....with a guy!...ok, don't get too excited....he's only 8!  It will be fun, but I need to get busy and get some stuff done before then :)

Have a fabulous day!

Another busy week coming up.....but today I get a little extra craftin' time with Deb while her car is in the shop - yay!  That means I need to get busy and get my mess from yesterday cleaned up so we have some space to work :)

Have a wonderful day!

The card - using some more of that pile of 6 x 6 paper :)  Leaf is crumpled and popped up.  (try wetting your leaf before wadding it up - makes it much easier!)

Our wool applique teacher is opening up her own studio - yea! - her open house is tomorrow, so we're going to give her a helping hand today getting things ready.  I'm really excited because the studio is just down the road from me!

Have a great day!

The card - more paper from one of those 6 x 6 paper pads.  Leaves are crumpled and popped up.  Sentiment is from Savvy Stamps.

The rain is taking care of watering the lawn, so I can scratch that job off of my to-do list today.  Guess I can concentrate on getting laundry done this morning.  Taking a break this afternoon and going to a movie, then it will be time to come home and get ready for class tonight.
