Scrappin' Sunday - this is a quick digital page I did (with MDS from SU) to show you some pictures of Jeff having his head shaved.
Today - um.....I have no idea what I'm going to do today. Have a ton of stuff I need to get done in the next couple of weeks, but no idea where to start. Maybe I'll just think about it today and make a plan.

The finished project - Tracy's Save the Date cards. It's a postcard and all digital - no stamping. Pretty simple and straight forward.

The card - stamps are from SU (Garden From the Heart). I stamped the image with chocolate, colored the leaves with celery, then added some peach flower soft. Fun stuff.
Yesterday I went to watch my son Jeff get his head shaved. He did it as a fund-raiser for children's cancer research. He raised over $1500 - good job Jeff! I should have some great pictures to scrapbook!
Today I need to get things set up for class tonight and I think maybe it's time to take the winter decorations down in the house. (I should at least get it done before Easter don't ya think) Lovin' this spring-like weather we're having!

Photo Saturday - a picture of Rifle Falls from last weekend. I do so want to go back in the summer (and/or fall) when all the vegetation would be much prettier. But I love waterfalls, so it was still worth the trip!
Today I am going to try and finish up several unfinished projects. Have to put the finishing touches on my rag purse (we had great fun with those yesterday) and get some stamping done too!

The card - the flower (SU) is stamped with Basic Grey, colored with blender pen (celery & saffron). (this is one of those times when the flowers look a LOT better in real life) Side is embossed with cuttlebug border embossing folder. Cardstock colors are celery & saffron.
Lots going on today - first I need to get my stamp room cleaned up (not sure how I can make such a mess doing one card!) Deb is coming over this afternoon and we are going to try our hand at making rag purses. (my sewing machine hasn't been used in so long that I only hope it still works) Then Emily and Sherry are joining us later for our regular Friday night stamping. Woo hoo! A totally fun day. Wow - can you believe the temp yesterday was 52! And sunshine! Love it! Most of the snow in my yard has melted - just a few spots left here and there. It's supposed to be in the 40's the rest of the week - that will be a nice change from 20's & 30's. Yea!

Someone left a comment yesterday saying my blog posts were boring - can you imagine? Now, what could be more exciting than stamping, scrapbooking and photographs? I gave up the really exciting stuff several years ago. Too much excitement is really not good for someone of my advanced age - it can cause heart attacks ya know. Yesterday was great - those girls do know how to spend a day having fun. Great food - the chicken mushroom lasagne was awesome, plus salad, bread, dessert, snacks - oh yum! And I got several layouts done. It was a very good day!

Too much fun yesterday - lunch, shopping, and a lot of laughs! It was a great day! Not sure what I'm doing today - Linda and I had planned a day trip to Rifle Falls to take some pictures but decided to postpone that trip because the forecast is calling for snow. Dang! So.......maybe some stamping today - I have a few new stamps I can play with.

The card - lg leaf stamp is from Hero Arts - script bacground stamp is Stampabilities - butterfly is Martha Stewart punch. I stamped the background stamp, then the leaf on top, then cut the image into squares and mounted them on the chocolate layer. Colors are baja and chocolate.
