Hmmm....lots of things to do, just don't know where to start.  I still need to do a lot of work on my 'house project' and it's time to get class project s done for next month.  I need to get motivated!

The card - another simple one with  the acorns from SU.  I added a little grunge on the background piece before I embossed it!  The acorns are popped up.

Must get the house cleaned up a bit today - have company coming for dinner!   The football game last night was a close one - our team lost by 4 points in the last few seconds!  Now it's on to the next sport which I think is basketball - oh yeah, a closed in gym and sweaty middle school boys - hmmm!

The card - stamped images are from SU.  I used some grunge stamps in the bakcground and added a strip of washi tape close to the bottom.  The leaves are stamped, sponged a little on the edges, die cut and popped up on the card.

My 'house project' is still under way.  I am turning the guest room into Hudson's room (got to have a place for all that baby stuff) which means the guest room ended up being where my office/wool room was and now the stamp room/class room is also the wool room.  Yep,  seems like I'm moving half the house around.  I think it's all going to work though - as soon as I get everything organized!  So, that's what I've been working on....and will be working on for the near future.

Tonight it's time for the middle school football Super Bowl - so excited.

I have a whole list of errands I had planned on doing today - however, since it's raining I may change my plans and save the errands for another day.  Still working on the 'house project' so it's back to that - and I need to get it cleaned up since I also have class tonight!

Project Sunday - my October Block of the Month.

Back to work on my 'house project'.  I barely got started yesterday, but as usual when I am working on something my entire house is one big mess.  Hopefully I can restore some order today.   Oh, and the boys won their football game yesterday, so it's on to the Super Bowl on Wednesday - yay!

Off to another middle school football game.  This is the playoff and they are undefeated at this point.  If they win today they get to go to the Super Bowl next week.  How exciting is that!  Then it's back home and time to get started on a project in the house....more about that later.

Hudson at 7 months - he's growing so fast!

It's been quite a week.  Yesterday was filled with memories, but they were mostly nice feel good memories and the comments and support from so many people were so special and appreciated.  But it was also a day filled with laughter and good times because I spent it with my friend Eileen!  All is good.

The card - stamped images are from Altenew.  I stamped some of images in black on the background.  The large flower on top is stamped with black on white, then cut out and popped up.  The leaves are stamped with green, cut out and also popped up.

Off on an adventure today - my friend Eileen and I are headed to Cedaredge for the AppleFest celebration.  There's always lots of crafty  booths and great food, so it should be a fun day!  Then when I get home I'm making dinner for some out of town relatives that just be here over night.  I haven't seen them for several years so it will be good to catch up!

The card - flower is from SU.  I stamped the flower in black on kraft paper, then embossed it.  I colored the stems with copics.  I then stamped the flower again on daffodil card stock, added a bit of shading to the centers and then cut the flowers out and popped them up.  The brick embossed piece is cut out along the edge to make room for the sentiment down the side.

I really need to get some stamping done, so that is my plan today.  I will have to take a break this afternoon to go get a haricut.  But, hopefully I can get a lot done before then!

Awww....fall is upon us!  We took a drive up to the Aspen /Maroon Bells area yesterday - wow!  What a beautiful drive.  It was late when we got back so I haven't had a chance to look at the photos I took - I can only hope that I captured a bit of the beauty!  It was awesome.  Now, today I really need to get some chores done around the house - it's way past time for some cleaning!

Trying to work up the energy to do some yard work today.  The yard has been really neglected the last few weeks and is looking pretty shabby.  So, maybe today I can get out and do some cleanup.  Then I will have to get ready for tonight's class.

The card - I used a die cut from the 'swirly set' for this one.  I cut my panel to size, then cut the die, took the die cut part out and adhered the pieces back together.  There is a patterned piece of paper underneath that then shows through.  (I hope that explanation makes some sort of sense!)

A full day coming up....have a few chores I'd like to get done this morning and then it's off to Hi Fashion for a day of stitching fun.  Then it's back home to get ready for class tonight.
