The card - used the same embossing folder as yesterday on this one.  I embossed the piece of cardstock and then took my white ink pad and just ran it lightly across the top. Added a sentiment and some ribbon.  Super easy!  

My plans for today keep changing so I'm not sure what I'm doing today.  Looking forward to getting together with friends Emily and Deb tonight though to work on calendar toppers.

The card - another new embossing folder and die cut!  This is a fun one.  The die cut matches the embossing folder so it cuts out all the stems.  I embossed first and then die cut the images out, but I watched a video where the lady put the die inside the embossing folder and did both at the same time.  Anyway, however you choose to do it, it's a pretty fun one.  Lots of possibilities with this!  So, the background on this card is just embossed.  The circle on top is die die and then I embossed another sheet and die cut the images out and used just a few of them on top of the circle.  (die and folder are from SU)

Never did get the laundry done yesterday, so guess that should be my first item of business today!  Not much else going on til tonight when I have class.  Maybe a few errands!  We'll see.

The card - I die cut a rectangle from a piece of cardstock and used the opening as a mask to sponge the area on the background piece.  I inked the flower stamp using sponge daubers and stamped the image on the sponged area.  Added the sentiment on the side.  The panel was embossed after all the stamping was done.

Need to do some yard work this morning and then it's time to get to work on class projects.  Somehow class time has snuck up on me (it's next week already!) and I haven't even started figuring out the projects - oops!

Not sure what is happening today.  Ethan was running a temp all day yesterday and then turned out Hudson went home early from summer camp with the same symptoms.  So, unless they had a miraculous recovery last night I will more than likely have Ethan again today.  Poor kids.

Photo Sunday - gotta say bowling is really not my game!  But we had a lot of fun and I did win the second game.  So, Hudson was happy, we each won a game!  

It was quite the day - bowling, lunch at McDonald's, ice cream at Dairy Queen, a visit to the science museum, a trip to the store for snacks, a bit of tv time for a bit of resting time, off to dinner at Freddies and then bath and a movie.  Whew - couldn't get much more crammed into one day!  

Looking forward to a day of stamping with my friend Karen.   Hopefully I'll remember how!

Project Sunday - Karen brought this wool embroidery sampler for show and tell to our last Needle Keepers.  I love the colors in the piece and Karen's stitching is always perfection!  

I managed to get some stamping done yesterday and I even took a bit of time for a nap!  Yay!  It was a nice relaxing, but productive day.  I never got  around to the yard work though, so I'm hoping to get that done today.  And maybe even some more stamping!
