The Christmas shopping is all done - woo hoo!  I have a couple of handmade things to finish and more peanut brittle to make, but that's about it.  So, today I'm taking a break and Judy S and I are going to Delta for lunch and some scrapbook shopping at The Scrappy Moose.  Fun!

Photo Saturday - this is another shot of the Ouray Ice Park.  (last week's picture was from the same place)  The ice here is all man-made.  They use sprinklers to make these ice formations and it is a popular spot for ice climbers.  They have a big ice climbing event in January.   Really a beautiful sight to see. 

A crop day today - at least part of the Good Time Girls will be here!  I'm hoping to finish up Jeff & Sara's guest book today.

Most of the Christmas cards are done and ready to mail.  Yay!  I do have a few left that have to be put together, but I ran out of ribbon so I have to borrow some from my friend Deb. 

I had thought that having to buy a new computer so close to Christmas was not the best thing, but at least a new computer is kind of a fun thing!  But having to replace the washing machine ......not so much!  Yep, it sprung a leak yesterday so I had to go buy a new one.  Dang, not good timing!  Oh well, such is life! 

Have some gift things I need to work on today.  So, I'm off to be crafty!

Ah ha - I actually made some progress yesterday.  Got my Christmas cards figured out and my Christmas letter done!  Now it's just a matter of stamping, cutting and putting together 80 of the cards.  Guess what I'm doing today!

I was gone for half the day doing errands yesterday, then Jeff came by and was here for a couple of hours and I still managed to make a total mess in half the house in what was left of the day.  Now, how the heck did that happen?   I guess I better get it cleaned up since we have our Shoebox Club tonight.

So this is what my basement/classroom area looks like with 30 people stamping, making cards, eating and chatting.  The card making was pretty much done by this time and most people had moved on to the food.  It was a great night!

Today's goal is to get my class projects cut and bagged for this week's classes.

The Christmas card class event went very well last night.  I just have to say that I have the best group of students ever!  They make me laugh and they are always so appreciative.  So, a big thank you to each and every one of them for making it all worth while!!!!
