Lots to do this morning.  Since we're going to be spending Christmas in Denver next week with Sara's family we are having our family Christmas here today.  That means I need to get the gifts wrapped and lunch started.

The card - stamped images are from SU.  The branches are stamped with mossy meadow on the background.  I stamped the pinecones on a seperate piece of white, cut them out and popped them up.  (sorry, they don't show up very well in the photo).  

Off this morning for some last minute shopping and then to the grocery store.   Hopefully I can find what I need fairly quickly, because I need to have time today to make some peanut brittle too.  Looking forward to some Friday night crafting with Emily.  (we'll miss you Eileen and Deb :)

The card - I stamped a bit of greenery in the background then added the candles on top.  The candles are just strips of embossed cardstock and the top was made by cutting a heart punch in half.  Colors are lagoon and smoky slate.

Christmas Party tonight - that means I need to get my house in order.  I managed to make quite a mess with my sewing yesterday - but, I got all the finished applique pieces made into pillows or framed.  Yay!

I never did get any sewing done on Saturday, so now it's a must today.  There's gifts that have to be finished by tomorrow.  So, that's what I'm doing today.

It's time to get some shopping done - ugh!  Not really in the mood, but the weather is supposed to get bad in the next couple of days so I better get out and get some stuff done while it's not so bad.  I like it better when I know what I'm looking for, but this time it's go look and try to figure out what to buy.  hmmmm....should be interesting.

The card - tree is from SU.  I stamped the tree several times across the panel, sponged a little white at the bottom and added some snow by stamping  a 'grunge' stamp in white.

So many things to get done this week - I don't even know where to start.   I better figure it out though or I'll end up wasting the whole day - and that would not be good!!!

Oh my, today has to be a sewing day.  I have a bunch of stuff that has to be put together - made into pillows, etc.  It's not my favorite part, so I tend to put it off.  But, I need to get them all done, so that's my goal for the day.

Time to get some stamping done and there's still shopping left to do and gifts to finish making and that dang laundry to finish...... but no Christmas parties for a few more days, so I should be able to get some of this stuff done :)

The card - I loved this tree die cut I got when we were at Sherry's.  This was a very quick and easy card :)

So much to do, not enough time!  I don't even know where to start.   We have our Stamp Club with Deb tonight so the first thing I need to do is get the class room cleaned up - after that I'm not sure.  Maybe I'll try to get my errands done today - or maybe I better do the laundry - or maybe I should work on Christmas gifts - argh!   I don't know what the heck to do :)

Project Sunday - I finished this snowman sampler this week - well, the stitching is finished - it needs to be made into a pillow or wall hanging - I'm leaning towards making it a pillow.

I made a lot of progress on my Christmas cards yesterday - yay!  They're not finished yet, but they're getting close.  My friend Eileen is coming over today to stitch so hopefully I will make some progress on Christmas gifts!

Time to get serious about Christmas gifts and getting Christmas cards done.  Wow , there's not much time left.  So, today I need to get to work - not sure what I will start on, but I must figure out gift things that need to be done or work on Christmas cards - oh, decisions, decisions!

Whew....I love doing my Christmas card class event each year, but this year I have to say I'm glad it's over!  Such a great group of ladies though and I treasure their friendship.  Thanks ladies for a great evening!!!!  Today I can rest a little and then I have Wool Gatherer's Club to look forward to this afternoon - a day filled with nothing but fun - yay!
