The card - The background is patterned paper (SU).  The butterflies are die cut from patterned paper and popped up.  Small white rectangle is die cut.  Both background pieces are matted with black.  Super easy one!

The card - The background is a piece of patterned paper (SU)  that I sponged with some blue at the top and then added a bit of yellow.  The strip of yellow is a plain piece of cardstock.  The flowers are cut out of a piece of patterned paper (SU)  and colored with Stamp n Blends (SU).

I can only hope that I'm more productive today than I was yesterday.  My biggest accomplishment was cleaning out my sock drawer (took all of 5 minutes).  I did enjoy spending some time with my friend Ann, who fixed my knitting error for me!   Thank you Ann!   I do think I'll work on my socks at least for a bit today!  And I have a friend coming later for dinner and crafting, so I have that to look forward to!   It's all Good!

The card - fun with patterned  paper.  The only stamped image on this card is the sentiment.  The cone and ice cream scoops are punched out of patterned paper. and the strips are just cut with the trimmer.  So easy!  

My friend is coming to help with a knitting issue this morning.   Yep, I messed up again!  I'll never finish these socks at this rate - lol!  Good thing I have other projects I can work on in between!

The card - background is embossed.  Strips of black cardstock are added to the background  with a piece of embossed kraft on top.  The flower and leaves (from Altenew) are stamped , die cut and popped up.  (These flowers and leaves are not colored, only stamped.  They are layered stamping that I did with my new Stamparatus. )

No big plans for the day.  A couple of errands and then ???    Who knows, although I am thinking about doing some stamping today.

Photo Sunday - the birthday boy!

Birthday parties are over (whew! - but it was all such fun!)  Today I am looking forward to a day of stamping with my friend Karen!  Hopefully I will be super productive!

So true........  I'm just glad we're not on the eastern side of the state today - they're expecting a ton of snow!

So far we've just gotten rain, but  Hudson's party today (with his friends from school) was supposed to be outside at a park near their house.  Plans had to be changed, now it will be at their house.  Oh well, it will be still be fun!  (this is his first 'kids' party so he's very excited!)

Birthday celebrations today.  Hudson is 5 today.  Wow!  How the time flies.  It has become a tradition for him to spend the day with me on his birthday - this will probably be the last year for that since he will start Kindergarten this year!  So, we have a play day with a couple of friends planned - I am just hoping the weather cooperates!  Then tonight is family birthday dinner.  A busy day!

The card - more ice cream!  The background is patterned paper.  The ice cream is stamped, punched out and popped up.  The 'cone' is punched from patterned paper.  Quick and easy!

Lots to do in the next few days!  Tomorrow is Hudson's birthday so we have birthday celebrations to get ready for!  Tomorrow night is the family celebration so I need to get my house cleaned today and get some food prep done!  Looking forward to a fun weekend!

The card - I spent most of the afternoon yesterday playing with this ice cream set from SU.  Fun stuff!  For this card I cut off a strip along the right hand side of the card so the card is smaller on the front.  The Happy Birthday is stamped on the inside part of the crd.  The front is covered with a piece of patterned paper.  Each piece of the ice cream is stamped, then punched out with the matching punch.  The ice cream pieces are popped up.  

Off for my walk and then my friend Ann is coming to help me with some knitting issues.  ( I'm pretty sure I'd never finish a knitting project if I didn't have her to help me 😅)  It's been a while so I'm looking forward to seeing her!

The card - background panel has a strip of patterned paper down the left side.  Small panel is die cut.  Stems are stamped directly on the small panel, tulips are stamped on a seperate piece.  The large tulip is punched out, the small ones are cut out.  Tulips are popped up.

I need to get ahold of my knitting friend for some help!  I'm stuck on my knitting projects until she can help me move forward  (that means fix a mistake or two  and show me how to do the next step!)  😀  But I'm starting a new Swedish Weaving project so I do have something to work on!  Looking forward to some crafting time with a friend tonight - yay!
