Errands this morning, stamping the rest of the day!  Need to get birthday cards done for church, that's my goal this weekend!

Need to get some yard work done this morning and clean up the mess I made yesterday in the craft room.  I was fairly productive yesterday, so the mess was worth it!!

Off on an adventure with my friend Judy today.  It's been forever since we had lunch in Delta, so today is the day!  But first, I need to get the lawn mowed!

The card - background is embossed although it didn't show up well in the photo.  I used SU's new Timeworn Type which is one of my new favorites!  The two green leaves are stamped, then die cut.  The other two are  just die cut from solid card stock.  The sentiment is stamped on a die cut tag and tucked under the leaves.  

Can you believe it's the first of September?  I feel like I lost most of the summer!  I am looking forward to the beauty of the fall season in Colorado though!    

Nothing exciting today - have an eye Dr's appointment this morning.  Not sure what I'll be able to do the rest of the day - last time it took a long time for my eyes to get back to normal after he dilated them - yuk!  So, we'll see.  I think we're supposed to get rain today, so a good day to stay inside!

Project Sunday - who remembers macrame?   Had so much fun making this super simple plant hanger.  Always loved this craft - definitely planning on doing more!  (glad it's becoming a 'thing' again!)

I need to stay focused today and get my chores done (which didn't happen the last two days!).  It's going to be a 'Grandma weekend' with both boys.  Woohoo!  Picking them up from school and day care this afternoon and they'll be spending the weekend here while their parents have a weekend out of town for their anniversary!  Win, win for everyone!

Photo Sunday - my haul at the Farmer's Market yesterday.  Palisade peaches are the very best and watermelon and cantaloupe from Green River, Utah are my favorites!  Now I just need to pick up some Olathe Sweet Corn and some local tomatoes!  I love fresh summer fruit and vegetables!

No big plans for today except a trip to the grocery store.  I am thinking I might be starting a new project, just have to decide if I am in the mood for that.  It might be a book and nap day!!!

Saturday quote.....

A bit of 'Grandma time' with Ethan today.  Jeff and Hudson are going to see the new Paw Patrol Movie, soo Ethan and I will hang out  here for awhile.  Before that though I need to run to the Farmers Market up the road for some peaches!  I'm out and I need to feed my habit!  Love the fresh peaches here and have to take advantage while I can!!!!
