Back to the stamp room today.  I think everything else has been done, so I can play today :)   I will pick up the boys later and we'll have dinner - golf day for Jeff and Sara works late, so a bit of 'Grandma time' for me!

The card - background is just several layers of card stock.  The flower image is stamped on patterned paper and then colored.  A square die cut was cut in half to make the corner triangles.  

Back from the mountains.  Oh my,  those 60-70 degree temps were so nice!  Now it's back to the 100's - the heat slows me down a bit :)   But it was a wonderful few days, even finished a couple of stitching projects!  Went to a craft show in Lake City, saw lots of beautiful scenery, and even saw a bear close to the cabin!  It was awesome!  Now it's back to a normal (hot) week.  Need to mow the lawn this morning and get some laundry done.

The card - had some time yesterday to play with some new stamps.  These leaves are a lot of fun.  Embossing folder, die cuts and stamps.  The background is embossed.  The leaves are embossed and die cut (patterned paper) and then popped up.  Sentiment is stamped, die cut and popped up.  

And I am off to the mountains this afternoon.  woohoo!  Trading 100 + degree weather for some much cooler - probably in the 60's, low 70's!  I can hardly wait!  So, you won't hear from me again until Friday!

Saturday Quote.....

Off to check on a friend's garden while they're out of town.  Then a stop at a Farmer's Market for some fresh veggies.  Then......hmmmm....was hoping my order of new stamps would arrive before today, but no such luck.  Guess I will try to get some stuff organized for my trip to the mountains next week.

The card - The circle is stamped using a background stamp on a larger piece and then the circle is die cut from that.  The image is stamped on the circle.  Add a sentiment at the bottom and ribbon.

More 'Grandma time' with Hudson.  We have lots of chores to to do today.  (he's ok with that since he can earn 'chore money')  Fireworks in Fruita tonight!
