The card - stamps and paper are from Close to My Heart. Flowers are stamped with sahara sand and black.

Still working on class projects - my goal is to have all (or at least most) of November and December's class projects done before Thanksgiving. For the original procrastinator (that would be me!) that will be a major accomplishment.

Enjoy your day!

The card - I saw this layout on a blog somewhere and not only copied the layout but I copied the colors - thought it was a cool color combination. Colors are eggplant, teal and kiwi. Flower is a die cut.

I'm feeling a little less 'behind' now since I got my Shoebox project done yesterday and got my class project for next week cut and bagged - it was a productive day yesterday! Class this morning and again tonight, so I may just take a break this afternoon.

Have a great day!

The card - stamp is from Thoughts and Prayers (SU). Colors are soft suede, more mustard and dusty durango. Easy!

Card Class kits are ready to go - yea! Now on to my next project - have to get a calendar topper done for our Shoebox Club on Thursday. I have to do August this time, and I'm clueless - have no idea what I'm going to do! So, after I get my other chores done I guess I will try to figure that one out!

Have a wonderful day!

Scrappin' Sunday - pictures from our day in Ouray.

And moving on......the class projects are done - whew! Today I will cut and bag - not my favorite part, but it has to be done.

Happy scrappin'

Photo Saturday - took this last week when it snowed. Glad we are enjoying better weather now.

I have a new plan for the blog - I will post cards on Monday thru Friday, a photo on Saturday and a scrapbook page on Sunday. I'm hoping this will motivate me to get more scrapbook pages done, plus give the blog a little more variety.

Today it's back to work on the class projects. I'm not leaving my room until they're done - well, maybe a few short breaks!

Hope you are enjoying the beginning of a wonderful weekend!

The card - leaf stamps are from Hero Arts. Colors are soft suede, dusty durango, olive and razzleberry. Card is soft suede, top note die is vanilla.

The weather has been so nice that I had this fleeting thought that I should be outside doing some yard work - ok, so that thought didn't last long! But I do have a lot I want/need to get done in the next couple of weeks so I need to focus - unlike yesterday which went by without anything constructive being accomplished. I hope to do better today!

Have a wonderful day!

The card - this is another very old stamp I found in a drawer the other day. I don't think it had ever been used. Shame! I stamped it with black and colored it with a blender pen - used olive, curry, suede and a touch of durango. The stamp is from Stampendous.

Today it's back to work on class projects. I at least have a few ideas I want to try. Hopefully it will be productive day.

Happy stampin'

The card - Stamp set is Live Like You Mean It (SU) Colors are dusty durango and artichoke.

Jeff and Sara are coming for dinner tonight, so that means a trip to the grocery store sometime today. The class projects are not coming together liked I hoped, so I may take a break from that and hope that creativity strikes tomorrow.

Enjoy your day!

The card - image is from Wandering Words (SU) - inked with markers, chocolate, durango and curry. Leaf is a die cut, embossed and sponged with chocolate. Card is kraft, with Sanded (SU) background stamped in chocolate. I used a distressing tool on the edges of the vanilla piece.

Working on class projects today (and probably the rest of the week!) Too many things to get done in the next couple of weeks.

Have a great day!

Monday, November 2, 2009

The card - flower stamp is from Paper Inspirations - smile is SU. Colors are saffron, chocolate, olive and pumpkin.

Back to work on class projects. Have to get kits cut and bagged for class tonight and then get to work on projects for classes that start next week.

Happy stampin'

Scrappin' Sunday - The layout is one we did in Scrap class a while back. I just added the pictures. Printed paper is from Basic Grey.

Some happy news - Tracy (my daughter) is engaged! Woo hoo! The wedding will be next October in Kentucky. Pretty exciting.

Hoping to spend some time in my stamp room today. I should at least be able to get some cards done while watching the football game! Go Broncos!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Friday, October 30, 2009

The card - stamp is from Inkadinkado. Colors are kraft and black.

Brrrr- it's cold! But I have to say I'm glad I'm on the western side of Colorado - at least we didn't get 15 inches of snow like they did in Denver - yuk!

Not sure what I'm working on today, but I am looking forward to 'play time' with Sherry & Emily tonight!

Stay warm - and enjoy your day!

A little bit of Halloween today - stamp is from SU - printed paper is from Basic Grey.

More snow? Geez, you'd think it was winter around here. Looking at the weather though, it is supposed to be nice and in the 60's again next week - thank goodness.

Went to the grocery store yesterday, so today I can stay home and be creative. Need to get to work on layouts for scrap class next week.

Have a wonderful day!

Wednesday, October 28, 2009

Good snowy morning! Yep, that is snow you see falling in the light. Couldn't resist trying a 'night' picture. (although it is morning) What's up with the snow? I'm not ready for winter yet. But, I guess I'm never ready for winter when it comes right down to it. When I win the lottery I'm going to have a condo on the beach in California for my 'winter home'. Yeah, nice thought anyway!!

On to the card for today................

The card - images are from Autumn Days (SU) Colors are rust, chocolate, mustard. Printed paper is from Autumn Meadows (SU). The large scallops at the bottom are made with a new punch I got in Delta - love it!

Didn't get much done yesterday, so I need to get back in the groove today. Good day to stay indoors anyway - although I really need to go to the grocery store.

Have a great day!

Tuesday, October 27, 2009

The card - I was digging around in a drawer with some very old stamps in it and found this stamp from Magenta. Thought I would ink it up and see what I could do with it. A simple card, but it was fun. I stamped the image in black and colored it with a blender pen - used soft suede, dusty durango and olive.

Have a lot of odds and ends to get done today - finish the laundry, clean up my stamp room, and get the class area cleaned up for class tonight.

Have a wonderful day!

Monday, October 26, 2009

The card - images are from Trendy Trees (SU) Card is kraft with strips of chocolate, mustard, olive and rust. Fall saying is from CTMH.

It's feeling more like winter outside this morning than fall......brrrr. But it's supposed to be a sunny day, just on the cool side.

I felt like a hermit this weekend - holed up in my work room. But I got a lot accomplished and that feels good. I'm on a roll, so maybe it will carry over for a few more days.

Enjoy your day!

Sunday, October 25, 2009

Scrapping Sunday - these are pictures from our trip to the Gateway car museum in August.

I spent all day in my work room yesterday and got two 6 x 6 books done for class projects - wow! That doesn't happpen often (actaully I don't think it's ever happened before!) Today I am going to try and get some chores done and maybe work on some more class projects.

Karen asked what my favorite thing was that I got from my retail therapy on Friday - man, that's a hard one! I can't pick just one, but my favorite two things are probably the photo display stand from 7 gypsies and the printers tray (also from 7 gypsies) I can hardly wait to do something with them. There's also some new embellishments from Tim Holtz (I seem to collect that stuff - really need to start using it!) And of course paper - and it goes on and on!

Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!

Saturday, October 24, 2009

A photo today - haven't really had a chance to go anywhere to take fall pictures, so decided I'd have to make do with something from my back yard. It's amazing that I still have roses that are blooming! So, I caught a bit of summer and fall together.

I kind of over did it on the 'retail therapy' yesterday. Judy was much more restrained than I was! But I do have an abundance of new stuff to play with!

Hope your weekend is off to a grand start!

Friday, October 23, 2009

The card - just got this tree stamp from Just for Fun and had to play with it. Background on vanilla piece is script stamp from Glitz. Trees are stamped with soft suede. Card is kraft. Happy Birthday is from Papertrey.

I think Judy S and I are going to Delta this morning - at least we talked about it earlier in the week. I hope that is still the plan - shopping at The Scrappy Moose and lunch sounds good to me! Then stamping with Deb, Sherry and Emily tonight. A fun-filled day for me! Yea!

Happy stampin'
