Enjoy your day!

The card - super simple. Stamp is from Stampendous. I made the embossed lines on the background with my scor-pal. Card is concord, mat is peach.
Had a nice afternoon yesterday stamping with Judy S. I was even a bit productive. It's dreary and raining today so I'm thinking it's a good day to stay in - maybe I can get started on some class projects. That would be a good thing!
Have a great day!

The card - stamped image is from SU. Colors are black, white and kraft. I used a copic marker to color the flowers.
The paper work is finished! Yay! The taxes are done! Yay! Moving on to something else - just not sure what that is yet.
Linda - copy away - I'm sure I probably copied it from somewhere!
Enjoy your day!
The card - stamp is from Stampendous. I used several layers of white and distressed the edge of each layer to make them show up a little more. Got the idea to make the flowers pink & orange from my friend Celisa!
Paperwork, paperwork, and more paperwork. Trying to get my taxes done. I have great plans for the refund I'm hoping to get, so the sooner I get it done the sooner I can buy the new camera I've got my eyes on!
Deb did some great cards for our stamp club last night - thanks Deb! I will be copying them for sure!
Have a wonderful day!
Photo Saturday - Ouray Ice Park. If you've never been to Ouray in the winter to see the Ice Park you should go - it is an awesome sight - pictures just don't do it justice.
I think it's time to get some housework done around here. So that's my plan for the day. But I have a fun evening to look forward to - dinner with friends Kevin and Valerie who I haven't seen in way too long!
Enjoy your day!

The card - paper and stamps are from SU. Colors are real red, black and white.
Brrrr - it's cold. Temps in the below 0 catergory are just too cold! I wish I could stay inside today, but I have to go get a haircut this morning. Think I will skip the errands after that and just come home and get ready for class tonight.
Have a wonderful day.

The card - no stamping on this one! I used part of a piece of printed paper from SU, added a heart sticker (Martha Stewart), a little pearl and some ribbon. Colors are basic grey and pirouette pink. Easy!
My plan for today is to get some cleaning and re-arranging done downstairs. There's a ton of stamps I need to sort and organize although I'm not sure I'll get to that part today, but who knows.
Have a wonderful day!

The card - used an old stamp I found in my drawer for this card. The background is swiss dots embossing folder. The center is actually 3 layers and is popped up. I scored around the outside center layer with the scor-pal.
Clean-up day today. I made such a mess in my room yesterday that I will have to get it straightened up or Deb & Sherry won't have a place to stamp tonight. But I was rather productive (hence the mess) - I got a good start on the cards for card class, so that is a good thing!
Have a great day!

The card - the background on this card is a piece of Tim Holtz paper. The stamped images are also from Tim Holtz. I embossed the flowers in white, the other images are stamped in black.
I got a little side tracked yesterday and never did get any stamping done. Ended up cooking dinner for Jeff & Sara which meant a trip to the store. I did get the Save the Date cards ready to mail. Yea! Maybe I can get some stamping done today.
Have a wonderful day!

The card - printed paper is from SU. Just added a die cut heart and a little punched heart from glitter paper. Colors are basic grey and pink pirouette. Sentiment stamp is from My Sentiments Exactly.
I think today will be a stamping day. Need to get my Valentine's cards done. And it's going to be very cold outside (the high is supposed to be 16) so it will be a good day to stay inside!
Enjoy your day!

The card - here's another one of the guy cards I did. I used a variety of stamps from Tim Holtz, 7 Gypsies and SU. Top part is a Tim Holtz embossing folder, below that is some tissue tape from Tim Holtz. (I have a ton of this stuff I need to use). Colors are kraft, black and vanilla.
Time to get to work on class projects. If I had any idea what I was doing it would help!
Have a wonderful day!
The card - stamped image is from SU. I stamped the tree with Versamark on the background. The colored tree is inked with markers, cut out and popped up. Colors are real red and white.
A play day today! Yea! Judy and I are going to Delta - lunch and a stop at the scrapboook store! Woo hoo! Can you tell I'm excited?
Have a great day!
The card - I've been trying to get some 'guy cards' done this past week and decided I'd try something a little different. Collage has always been a bit 'out of the box' for me but I thought I'd give it a try. I used a variety of Tim Holtz and 7 Gypsies stamps for the background, then sponged some color here and there. The trees were stamped last.
Need to do a couple of errands this morning and then get ready for class tonight.
Thanks for all the kind comments about the pillow - I'm looking forward to making some more in different colors.
Have a wonderful day.

Project Sunday - this is a rag quilt pillow I made for my friend Deb for her birthday. It was a bit of a challenge since I had never seen it done before so therefore I had no pattern or picture. Amazingly enough I figured it out and this was the result.
I can't believe that this is going to be the last week of January. I guess it's time to start thinking about projects for February classes. Maybe I'll try to work on that today - at least the 'thinking' part!
Have a fabulous day!

The card - time for some Valentine's - stamped image and printed paper are from SU. Heart is a sizzix die cut. Colors are real red, basic grey and white.
I guess I need to pull myself out of my stamp room today and get some chores done. It's time to do the laundry - how does that pile up so fast? and there's class to get ready for tonight.
Have a great day!
The card - stamped images are from SU. Colors are kraft, suede and vanilla. Embellishment on twill is Tim Holtz.
Today is the first completely free day I've had for several weeks. Whoa - not sure what to do with myself. No commitments, no classes...........plenty of things that need to be done, but nothing pressing. I'm thinking it's a good day to spend stamping. (didn't get to it yesterday) So that's my plan for the day.
Enjoy your day!

Project Sunday - this is just one of several sample Save the Date ideas I made for Jeff & Sara to choose from. I did this in SU's MDS.
We're celebrating Deb & Emily's birthday tonight - that means chicken and noodles for dinner. That also means I need to get the mess cleaned up that I made last night trying to get birthday gifts finished.
Have a great day!
The card - snowman stamp is from Unity. Colors are marina mist and white.
Shoebox last night was great fun. We had to bring a card that we had made with the stamp from our 'ugly stamp' exchange in December. What a hoot! Have to say, most of the cards were actually very nice! I think mine & Molly's were really pretty ugly cards though. (went along with the whole 'ugly' theme) We also celebrated Deb's birthday with some homemade icecream and cookies. It was a great evening! Now I need to get my stamp room cleaned up so Deb, Sherry & I have a place to stamp tonight.
Have a fabulous day!

The card - super simple - stamped image and embossing folder are from SU. Colors are marina mist & olive.
I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with everything that still needs to be done this week. Guess I should try and get myself organized today, make a plan and get busy. Class tonight.
Have a wonderful day.

The card - stamped image is from Hero Arts. Printed paper is Bo-bunny. Card is white, top layer is white sponged with kraft.
Oh brrrrr! It is very cold outside this morning. (pretty darn chilly even in the house) Maybe if I get to moving I will warm up a bit. Have a class this morning and I need to get stuff together for that. Class again tonight.
Have a great day!
The card - stamp is an old one that has been in my stash forever, not sure what company it is from. But it's one of my favorites so have to use it each winter! Colors are baja and white.
The class projects are almost ready - just have a bit of cutting and bagging to finish. Yea! Have some household chores (like laundry) to do today and then I'm going to start working on some Save the Date samples for Jeff & Sara.
Enjoy your day!
Scrappin' Sunday - This is one of the layouts I got done yesterday. We did the background in class this month so all I really had to do was add the pictures. Paper is from Bo-Bunny.
I didn't get to spend much time scrappin' yesterday but I did get a couple of layouts done. Most of the afternoon was spent with Jeff & Sara - we drove up to the Monument to take engagement pictures. Had a wonderful time and got some really nice photos. Felt bad about leaving Sue & Karen on their own, but they seemed to do just fine without me!
This morning I must get my class projects done! (after I shovel some snow!). I'm hoping to have some 'play time' this afternoon. Maybe just some stamping for fun!
Have a wonderful day!
Photo Saturday - fireworks over the Colorado National Monument on New Year's Eve. Took this from my living room window.
Lots going on today - Sue and Karen (part of the Good Time Girls) are coming to crop today. I got some pictures developed yesterday so hopefully I can get some pages done! I will be taking a bit of a break at some point to go with Jeff & Sara to take some engagement photos. So, lots of fun things happening today!
Have a wonderful day.

The card - embossing folder is from Cuttlebug, tree & sentiment are from SU. Colors are artichoke and white.
I'm not leaving my stamp room today until I have my cards done for class! At least that's my plan. I'm having a hard time getting motivated since the holidays but hopefully I can get back in the groove today.
Enjoy your day!

The card - stamped image is from Hero Arts - image is stamped and embossed with white on printed paper from My Minds Eye. Card is espresso. Sentiment is from SU, stamped in espresso.
It's time to get started on cards for classes that start next week. After all the Christmas and winter stuff I need to switch gears and think 'Valentines'. Haven't a clue where that will take me, but I guess I will work on it today - at least the 'thinking' part!
Have a great day!

The card - stamped image is from SU. Sentiment is Papertrey. Embossing folder is Sizzix. Colors are eggplant and white. Super simple.
Need to get class kits cut and bagged today. I probably should think about putting away the Christmas decorations that are piled all over downstairs too..........we'll see how the day goes. Sometimes they get shoved into the spare room to be dealt with later.
Have a wonderful day.
The card - snowman is from Inkadinkado, embossing folder is Cuttlebug, sentiment is Hero Arts.
It's definitely winter and very cold! Brrr! I knew the nice weather we were having was too good to last. We had a great time yesterday ringing in the New Year. Dinner, games and celebrating Jeff & Sara's engagment.
Now that the holidays are over it's time to get back to work - I have a class tomorrow night and don't even have the projects done - oops! Guess what I will be working on today!
Have a wonderful day!
