I'm going to try and get started on cleaning up some stuff in the basement today.  Doesn't sound like much fun but it needs to be done!

Enjoy your day!

The card - playing with a new die - got this hexagon die (from Die-namics) on our trip last month so I had to see what I could do with it.  Kind of fun......just scraps of paper and a sentiment.

Went to see the movie 'Here Comes the Boom" yesterday.....go see it if you can....it was a great 'feel good' movie....very funny!

Have no clue what I'm going to do today....need to figure that out I guess.  I will have to get ready for class tonight at some point.

Have a wonderful day!

Wednesday, October 17, 2012

The card - really liked this layout, but think I might like it better with different paper.  (or maybe just a different background piece!)  I will have to try this one again :)

Not sure which direction my day is going..... haven't quite recovered from my 'busy week' yet I guess.  I think I may just do some stamping....after all, my room is all cleaned up and we can't leave it like that, right?

Enjoy your day!

Sunday, October 14, 2012

Oops - it's another Photo Day - I just realized I hadn't taken any pictures of new projects.......I'll have to get that done before next week :)

Need to finish up some chores this morning, then it's stitchin' time at the quilt store this afternoon.  Then I have company coming for dinner.....it's Judy's husband's birthday today (Happy Birthday Bob!)  so we're doing chicken and noodles tonight.  A full day, but mostly filled with fun stuff :)

Whew....it's been quite a week.  Now today I find myself with a free day - no commitments, nothing that has to be done.  Lots of things that need to be done though, and I guess I should start with cleaning up my work room...I've made quite the mess the last couple of days.  So, I'll start there and then see what else I can be motivated to do.

Have a wonderful day!

Have a fabulous day!

The card - super simple - just some srtips of paper, a sentiment and a button:)

I've been jumping from season to season lately with Halloween, fall and even Christmas.  Now I've got to think spring and come up with a calendar topper for May for our Shoebox Club tomorrow night....so that's what I'm working on today.

Enjoy your day!

Wednesday, September 26, 2012

The card - stamped images are all from Hero Arts.  Leaves are stamped with limeade and basic gray, sentiment is stamped in black.

More rain means no yard work today either.  We certainly need the rain so it's a good thing I guess....just kind of threw my schedule for this week out of whack.  (not that I really mind all that much :)  So, today I'm going to try and get some work done on class projects for next month....holy cow....can you believe that next week is the first of Ocober?

Whew - we had a full day of shopping yesterday.  A very nice quilt show, it was pretty big, lots of beautiful stuff.  I watched Sherry and Deb spend their money this time!  Then it was on to a couple of quilt stores and then to my favorite wool store, where Deb & Sherry watched me spend my money :)  Oh yes, another nice stash of beautiful pieces of wool to take home and add to my collection plus a nice little pile of new patterns to work on.  A great day!  Today is a stay-at-home day.....planning on getting lots of stitching done.
