The card - acorns are a stamp with a matching punch from SU.  Kind of a fun fall thing!  A simple card with some fun acorns on tree embossed background.

I got all the chores on my list done yesterday - woo hoo!  Now today I can enjoy 'Grandma time' and look forward to Friday night crafting!

The card - die cut leaves, an embossed background and a sentiment - can't get much easier than that!  I used some Tim Holtz patterned paper for the leaf die cuts.

I have quite a list of chores to get done today....hopefully I can mark all of them off the list at the end of the day!

The card - stamped images are from Altenew.  I stamped some of images in black on the background.  The large flower on top is stamped with black on white, then cut out and popped up.  The leaves are stamped with green, cut out and also popped up.  

Still working on class projects, but Judy S is coming over to stamp today....so, I'm going to try and work on some fun stuff!

The card - not much stamping on this one.  The tree die cut is from SU.  The tree is cut out of black card stock and popped up. Super easy one!

The card - flowers images are from SU, sentiment is from Altenew.  I stamped the flowers in black and then just added a bit of color to to the center and the stems,  The tag is popped up on the embossed background and the sentiment is popped up on top of that!  Easy!

Off on an adventure today - my friend Eileen and I are headed to Cedaredge for the AppleFest celebration.  There's always lots of crafty  booths and great food, so it should be a fun day!  Then when I get home I'm making dinner for some out of town relatives that just be here over night.  I haven't seen them for several years so it will be good to catch up!

The card - flower is from SU.  I stamped the flower in black on kraft paper, then embossed it.  I colored the stems with copics.  I then stamped the flower again on daffodil card stock, added a bit of shading to the centers and then cut the flowers out and popped them up.  The brick embossed piece is cut out along the edge to make room for the sentiment down the side.

I really need to get some stamping done, so that is my plan today.  I will have to take a break this afternoon to go get a haricut.  But, hopefully I can get a lot done before then!

Awww....fall is upon us!  We took a drive up to the Aspen /Maroon Bells area yesterday - wow!  What a beautiful drive.  It was late when we got back so I haven't had a chance to look at the photos I took - I can only hope that I captured a bit of the beauty!  It was awesome.  Now, today I really need to get some chores done around the house - it's way past time for some cleaning!

The card - this doesn't show up as well in this scan as it does it real life.....the stamped image is from SU...I stamped it in black on a piece of patterned paper and then just added a sentiment, some ribbon and some flagged pieces at the top.  

Trying to work up the energy to do some yard work today.  The yard has been really neglected the last few weeks and is looking pretty shabby.  So, maybe today I can get out and do some cleanup.  Then I will have to get ready for tonight's class.

The card - I used a die cut from the 'swirly set' for this one.  I cut my panel to size, then cut the die, took the die cut part out and adhered the pieces back together.  There is a patterned piece of paper underneath that then shows through.  (I hope that explanation makes some sort of sense!)

A full day coming up....have a few chores I'd like to get done this morning and then it's off to Hi Fashion for a day of stitching fun.  Then it's back home to get ready for class tonight.

A little excitement around here yesterday.  Discovered that someone had come into my garage (we think it was through the window), took my purse out of my car and a few odds and ends of stuff.  Weird.  The biggest hassle was calling the bank and credit card companies and having everything cancelled and new ones issued.  It could have been worse, (they didn't come in the house)  and the window is now reinforced, the locks have all been changed (there were house keys in my purse) and the credit card companies have all been called.  I only have to go get a new driver's license.  Whew!  It's been quite the week.  I have Hudson again today, the babysitter is still sick.  Have to at least get the table cleaned off because we have Shoebox Club tonight.  All is good!

It's Jeff & Sara's anniversary today so I get some overnight 'Grandma time' this weekend.  It will be nice for them to get away for a night.... I haven't had to get up in the night with a baby for 40 years, so it will be interesting to say the least.  But it's ok, I can sleep tomorrow after they pick him up!

Project Sunday - a while back I discovered this 'scrubby' yarn so I've been making 'scrubby dishcloths'.  They are fast and easy and I work on them when I don't want to have to think about counting stitches or what not!
