The card - Background is patterned paper that I also embossed.  The white strip at the bottom is also embossed and I added a small dark strip at the bottom.  The leaves are die cut and popped up.  Add a bit of twine and a sentiment.  Super easy one.

I have a whole list of chores I want to get done today.  All the fun stuff - cleaning, laundry, pay bills, etc.  But I think I'm also going to drag out the fall decor and at least put a little bit out.  Hard to feel fallish when it's 100 degrees, but it's supposed to cool off to the 80's this coming week.  So, why not!

Not sure what the plans are for the day.  There was mention of going out to dinner tonight, but also mention of a bbq.  So, I'm just hanging out today waiting to see what the final decision is:)

The card - leaves are stamped randomly on a strip of card stock.  I added a strip of gold to the edge of the strip and a bit of grunge speckles.  The two extra stems are die cut and tucked under the sentiment strip.  

I can't believe it is the first of September!  This summer just went by way too fast!   I do love fall though and I'm looking forward to the cooler nights and the beautiful fall colors we have here in Colorado!  But, today, the lawn still needs to be mowed so that's my first job this morning!  And then?  Not a clue!

Looking forward to some 'Grandma time' today with the boys.  We had a big day planned but Hudson had a bit of accident at school yesterday, ended up in the ER and had a few stitches.  Poor guy!  So, now no trampolines and no friend's birthday party :(    Not sure what we'll do instead.

The card - used the same embossing folder as yesterday on this one.  I embossed the piece of cardstock and then took my white ink pad and just ran it lightly across the top. Added a sentiment and some ribbon.  Super easy!  

My plans for today keep changing so I'm not sure what I'm doing today.  Looking forward to getting together with friends Emily and Deb tonight though to work on calendar toppers.

The card - another new embossing folder and die cut!  This is a fun one.  The die cut matches the embossing folder so it cuts out all the stems.  I embossed first and then die cut the images out, but I watched a video where the lady put the die inside the embossing folder and did both at the same time.  Anyway, however you choose to do it, it's a pretty fun one.  Lots of possibilities with this!  So, the background on this card is just embossed.  The circle on top is die die and then I embossed another sheet and die cut the images out and used just a few of them on top of the circle.  (die and folder are from SU)

Never did get the laundry done yesterday, so guess that should be my first item of business today!  Not much else going on til tonight when I have class.  Maybe a few errands!  We'll see.

The card - I die cut a rectangle from a piece of cardstock and used the opening as a mask to sponge the area on the background piece.  I inked the flower stamp using sponge daubers and stamped the image on the sponged area.  Added the sentiment on the side.  The panel was embossed after all the stamping was done.

Need to do some yard work this morning and then it's time to get to work on class projects.  Somehow class time has snuck up on me (it's next week already!) and I haven't even started figuring out the projects - oops!
