Project Sunday - May's ' block of the month'

I didn't get very far on class projects yesterday - maybe I can do better this morning.  But this afternoon my friend Eileen is coming over for some stitching time, so the class projects will just have to wait :)

The card - stamped images are a combination of grunge stamps from SU and Papertrey Ink.  The yellow checked strip is washi tape.  The circle image is stamped, cut out and popped up.

I spent all day yesterday stamping and got quite a stash of cards done - yay!  Now, today I either need to do some more, or get the mess cleaned up.  I really need to think about class projects for June, so I may move on to that today.

The card -  stamped image is from Papertrey Ink.  The sentiment is the main focus of this card, but I added a couple of flagged pieces and a candy dot to add some color.  Colors are bermuda bay and calypso coral.

Had a wonderful day yesterday - we didn't get into any trouble, but it was a great day of fun and relaxation and the sun was shining which was a definite mood enhancer :)  I think we're supposed to have more sunshine today which will be nice!!!  I really need to start thinking about what needs to be done - I will be leaving for a vacation in a couple of weeks and there is a lot that has to be done before then.  I better get started.

The card - grunge background is from Bo Bunny (yep, a new stamp!)  The butterfly is a stamp/punch from SU.  Colors are smoky slate and soft sky.  (the smoky slate is much softer and prettier in real life, not sure why it didn't photograph well)

Off for a play day today.  Judy S and I are going to Delta for lunch - yay!  We'll try to stay out of trouble, but it's been forever since we've had a day away, so it might be hard :)

Project Sunday - here's the 'work of art' we painted last night at 'The Palette' downtown.  It was a fun evening.  (my 'C' could use a little help - that was a hard one for me to do without a pattern :)

And we're off for a day of stitching today - it's time for our Black Sheep Sunday gathering.  Looking forward to a fun day.

Photo Saturday - one more iris picture.  There are several of my neighbors that have these beautiful flowers in their yard - I think I might have to find a place to plant some :)

A full day - going to a jewelry party this morning and then Eileen and I are going to The Palette tonight to paint another picture.  Lots of fun stuff!

The card - balloon punch is from Martha Stewart.  I sponged the background paper (from SU) with Bermuda Bay.  The strings on the balloons are drawn with a black pen.  Added some jewels and a sentiment.  

My biggest job today is going to be a trip to the grocery store.  Other than that I just will be looking forward to our Friday night crafting.  Oh, and I did get the garage straightened up - feeling good that I got that job done :)

The card - dug out some really, really old CTMH paper for this card - the stamp is pretty darn old too!  But the sentiment is fairly new.  It all worked when I put it together :)

I've put it off long enough - I am really going to work on straightening up the garage today. It's driving me nuts, so that means it's time to do something about it!

Trying to decide what direction to go in today - I'm either going to try and get some more stamping done or go work in the garage.  Can't quite decide what I'm in the mood for.

The card - flower is from SU.  It's cut out and popped up and the banner with Hello is popped up and slipped under the flower.  Colors are white and strawberry slush.

Project Sunday - a wall hanging I finished this week

I didn't get any work done in the garage yesterday - it was actually quite cold out there and I just couldn't talk myself into it - maybe today, we'll see.

OK, enough with the rain already.  Geez, I think we're going to float away and my poor flowers are getting water logged!  I guess we do need the moisture, but enough is enough.     I think I'm going to try and motivate myself to get the garage cleaned up a bit today - I've managed to make a mess out there so it's time to put some stuff away.

Gosh, I've been so busy this week trying to get yard work done, the house cleaned up and class stuff finished, now it's all done and I have a free day!  Woo hoo!  Not exactly sure what I'm going to do - we're supposed to get more rain so doing something outdoors doesn't sound like a good plan.  We'll see - I should be able to think of something.  Looking forward to Friday night crafting!

Cooking dinner tonight for Jeff's birthday.  His birthday is actually tomorrow, but he's meeting a friend for a fishing day so we're doing dinner tonight instead.  Guess I better get to it - have to make a cake and some homemade ice cream.
