And a wonderful day was had by all.....    Great Christmas celebration - Hudson was so excited and Ethan was just so funny and entertaining!    It was awesome!    Now it's time for me to take down the Christmas stuff and put up the winter decor.  Going to try my hardest to get it all done today since I will have both boys all week.   So, I guess I better get started!

The card - background panel is embossed.  The greenery is die cut and embossed and then I sponged a bit of white here and there for a frosty look.  The small greenery and flower are stamped on a seperate piece, die cut and then popped up.  The sentiment piece is stamped, die cut and popped up.  

It should be a fairly quiet day - well that's relative since both boys will be here today.  (quiet doesn't enter into it much with both boys around :)  But, no big plans.  It's wet, rainy, cold and dreary so a good day for indoor activities.  Jeff is making chili for dinner tonight and then we will do our traditional drive around to look at Christmas lights.  Pretty laid back!

Ended up having a sleepover last night with both boys which is always fun.  Now it's time for some breakfast and then take Ethan to daycare and Hudson and I will do a couple of errands.  That's about it for today!

The card - background panel is embossed.  I made a circle frame with 2 sizes of circle die cuts.  I stamped some snowflakes on the dark background piece and then added the die cut trees.  The sentiment was heat embossed with white on a piece of navy cardstock and then cut out by hand.  Added  a bit of bling and some silver string.

The start of winter break at school - so lots of 'Grandma time' for the next two weeks.  Today it's both boys.  I'm hoping it will be as nice outside this afternoon as it was yesterday so we can go down to Main Street and wander around.  I need some fresh air - I tend to hibernate in the winter because I don't like the cold!

Some extra 'Grandma time' with Ethan.  Took him to the Dr yesterday and he advised no daycare for yesterday and today.  So, 'Grandma time' it is.   One last Christmas party tonight - glad I have my stuff ready (gifts and calendar topper).  I do have a bit of a mess to clean up in the kitchen from making peanut brittle last night,  so I better get to that.

Today's adventure - getting my second cataract surgery first thing this morning.  (right eye this time).  So excited to have this done and be able to see well out of both eyes!

The card - a little out of my box (I'm not a pink person, especially for Christmas cards - but it seems to be a 'thing' this Christmas)  So, the background panel is embossed.  Middle smaller panel is a piece of gold and white patterned paper.  The next smaller panel is the same color as the background, but is stamped with some random snowflakes in white.  The large snowflake is die cut (the center is another die cut snowflake layered on top.  

Chores this morning and hopefully time for a couple of errands.  Then a nice relaxing afternoon with the Needle Keepers.

LOL - I thought yesterday was Friday.  Go figure!  Didn't dawn on me til later in the day that it was actually Saturday.  Oh well, didn't really make any difference and now I think I'm on the right day.   It's going to be a quiet day - no kids, no company, just me and the laundry!  I'm even pretty caught up on most of the  Christmas stuff - just a couple of little things to pick up next week.  Yay!
