Looking forward to some 'Grandma time' today with the boys.  We had a big day planned but Hudson had a bit of accident at school yesterday, ended up in the ER and had a few stitches.  Poor guy!  So, now no trampolines and no friend's birthday party :(    Not sure what we'll do instead.

The card - background is embossed with a smaller square piece of embossed cardstock attached in the center.  The tag was die cut with a piece of card stock and a piece of printed vellum.  The flowers were stamped, cut out by hand and are popped up on the tag.  The stems are die cut.  The sentiment is heat embossed, die cut and popped up.

Chores this morning, including mowing the lawn.  Then a nice relaxing afternoon with the Needle Keepers and then class tonight.  A full day!

The card - yep, it's peach season.  Colorado peaches are the best!    So, the card - background is patterned paper.  Smaller panel is die cut with a smaller piece of patterned paper in the center.  Peaches are stamped, die cut and popped up.  Added some ribbon and a sentiment.

The card - used the same embossing folder as yesterday on this one.  I embossed the piece of cardstock and then took my white ink pad and just ran it lightly across the top. Added a sentiment and some ribbon.  Super easy!  

My plans for today keep changing so I'm not sure what I'm doing today.  Looking forward to getting together with friends Emily and Deb tonight though to work on calendar toppers.

The card - another new embossing folder and die cut!  This is a fun one.  The die cut matches the embossing folder so it cuts out all the stems.  I embossed first and then die cut the images out, but I watched a video where the lady put the die inside the embossing folder and did both at the same time.  Anyway, however you choose to do it, it's a pretty fun one.  Lots of possibilities with this!  So, the background on this card is just embossed.  The circle on top is die die and then I embossed another sheet and die cut the images out and used just a few of them on top of the circle.  (die and folder are from SU)

Never did get the laundry done yesterday, so guess that should be my first item of business today!  Not much else going on til tonight when I have class.  Maybe a few errands!  We'll see.

The card - background is embossed.  The larger octagon is die cut, stamped with a bit of grunge, matted and then I added a stamped, die cut flower.  The smaller octagons are punched out of patterned paper.  A strip of patterned paper at the bottom, some twine and a sentiment stamped, punched out and popped up.

A pretty free day today.  Need to do some laundry but that's about it for chores.  I have to have a calendar topper done by Friday so I guess I better try to get that figured out today!

The card - playing with some new leaves.  These leaves are from Tim Holtz and they cut and emboss all at the same time.  These I cut out of patterned paper and added a gold die cut sprig and some gold ribbon.  The left side is a SU die cut I sued for a border.
