Photo Sunday - see more at Jeff's website
More 'Grandma time' today. Poor Jeff - he was supposed to be in Las Vegas this week for his annual golf trip with the boys. He's done this golf trip for many years, since he was in college. But, of course it's been cancelled for this year. But, I will keep Hudson today so he and a friend can at least go play some golf here!
Have a good day!

The card - flowers are from SU. Oval is a die cut. The flowers are stamped on the oval and popped up. (the colors didn't scan well, they match better than it shows!)
Well, I'm on full-time babysitting duty for awhile. Jeff & Sara decided they would rather have Hudson coming here rather than preschool/daycare during this whole virus craziness. So.....my life is taking a new turn for awhile!
Loving the sunshine....mowed the lawn yesterday and hopefully can do a bit more outside today.
Enjoy your day!
Tuesday, March 31, 2020

More 'Grandma time' today. Not sure why, just got a text asking if I could keep him today and of course I said yes! I mean, I certainly don't have anything more important to do today!!!! It's supposed to be nice out today, so maybe we can at least spend some time in the fresh air!
Enjoy your day!

The card - stamped images are from SU. Background is patterned paper. Leaves are punched out, flower is stamped then cut out and popped up.
Looks like a stay-at-home day for me today. I did get out a bit yesterday - had to go to the grocery store and I went out for a walk two different times. It was a beautiful day to be outside! Today, it's raining and I don't need to go to the grocery store, so...... I did some stitching yesterday so I'm thinking about doing some knitting today. (I really should be able to finish some projects during this craziness!!!)
Have a great day!
Thursday, March 26, 2020
The card - stamped images are from SU. The circle border is stamped in black. The leaves and tiny flowers are stamped directly on the background. The larger flowers are stamped, punched out and then popped up.
Well, the govenor has officially put Colorado on a Stay-at-home order. oh joy! Not that things will change much for me - wasn't much of anywhere to go anyway since most stores were already closed. We can still go to the grocery store, and go outside for excercise, so I'm good! Today.....hmmmm....the house is finally clean and the laundry is done! Guess that means I can spend the day stamping, stitching or knitting. Or maybe a combination of all three!!!!
Enjoy whatever it is you are still allowed to do!!!
Wednesday, March 25, 2020
The card - my favorite - black and white. Stamped images are from SU. The center stripes are patterned paper. Flowers and leaves are stamped and then die cut. Background is grunge stamps.
Trying to work up the ambition to clean house. It really needs to be done, but somehow I just can't get motivated to do it. I did strip the sheets off the bed, so that project will have to be done at least before I go to bed tonight - LOL!
Have a wonderful day!

The card - stamped images are from SU. The background is sponged. The flower and lily pad are stamped, colored with copics and die cut. Some added twine, bling and a sentiment.
Sorry for posting so late today. I got busy this morning and spaced it out! I had a quite a stash of fat quaters of material left over from different projects. A friend has been making masks for health care workers and I've been cutting the material to size for her to use. Delivered a pile to her late this morning. Just a way I can contribute. If you are local and have material you would like to donate for this cause, let me know - I can pick it up and cut it to size for her to use.
On a bit of a happy note - the sun is shining today - woo hoo! I've been walking at the mall all winter because I really do not like the cold. Well, they closed the mall yesterday, so now walking there is out of the question. But, since it's a fairly nice day out I managed to go for a walk outside and get some fresh air! Yay!
It's all good!

'Grandma time' today. I will be glad when we see some sunshine and a bit warmer weather. Not very spring-like here. Cloudy and rainy most days! I would love to be able to spend some time out doors in the sun!

Crafty Saturday - here is one of my latest wool applique projects. I just finished it awhile back and it's now resides on my dining room table.
'Grandma time' today - yay! Wishing for a bit of sunshine today instead of rain, so we could spend some time outdoors. But it's supposed to be pretty chilly, so I guess it will be an inside day! Who cares...Grandma time is good no matter what!
Have a great day!
Friday, March 20, 2020
The card - background is sponged, stamped images (Unity) is stamped in black. Added some black twine. Easy peasy!
Still haven't cleaned the house....that was going to be my goal today....hmmm....not really in the mood! We'll see if I can talk myself into it. Think I'd rather be stitching or knitting or stamping!
So, tell me what you all are doing to keep yourself busy during this crazy time in our lives! Are you still working? My son is now working from home and my daughter-in-law is a mail carrier, she is still doing her regular job. I feel so bad for all the people who have actually lost their jobs or the small businesses who have had to close.
Have a good day!

The card - a super easy one. Stamped image is from SU. Stamped in black, colored with copics and then some added grunge.
Was looking forward to an evening of stitching with a couple of friends, but they both decided it was better for them to stay home - gosh, I hope this whole craziness ends soon!
I'm either going to clean house or do some stitching.....which do you think it will be ???
Happy crafting!
(PS - the embossing folder yesterday was from SU - the name of it is Tufted)

The card - background and purple strip are both embossed (SU). The oval is die cut (SU). Image is stamped in black and colored with copics. Sentiment is stamped, punched out and popped up.
Hmmm....what to do today. I did score some toilet paper at Target this morning. Woo hoo! Now, that's sad, when that is a highlight of the day! Lots of things to do, I'm just feeling really restless. Tell me I shouldn't go out and of course, I want to go out! I'm going to try and be productive........
Happy crafting!
Tuesday, March 17, 2020
The card - the flower (SU) is stamped (2 lg and 1 sm), punched out and layered. I popped up each layer. Background is patterned paper. Small white rectangle is die cut and matted. Pretty darn easy!
Well, I guess I will have plenty of time to craft. All my activities have been cancelled.....no dancing, no eating out, no stitching at Laura's. Lots to do at home, but I sure am going to miss my groups! Hopefully this whole craziness won't last long!!!!!
Keep on keepin' on!

Saturday, March 14, 2020
Good morning! Thought I would try to post some 'other' crafty things on the weekends. This is some of my first attempts at Swedish Weaving. It is so easy and so fun! I've done quite a lot of towels, now I need to figure out what else I can do with it! I've seen some beautiful afghans, but I think that is a little more than I want to attempt.
Another dreary, cloudy day. I didn't get a lot of stamping done yesterday, so I think I'll try to do some more today.
Have a great day!

Thursday, March 12, 2020

Circle is a die cut - this one is a new favorite - love it! The flowers are popped up and I added some bling to the center.
An extra 'Grandma day' today. It's Hudson's birthday today - he turned 4. Wow, the time has gone so fast! We've been to the dinosaur Museum, now it's time for lunch and then hopefully it will be warm enough to go to the park. Family dinner, presents, cake and icecream tonight!
Have a terrific day!
Wednesday, March 11, 2020
The card - background is sponged using a stencil. Image (Unity) is stamped in black over sponged area. An added sentiment and some ribbon.
It needs to be a cooking and cleaning day since I need to get ready for Hudson's birthday tomorrow. But, it is raining and dreary - more of a curl up with a book and take a nap kind of day! Hmmm....maybe I can do both! It's worth a try!
Have a wonderful day!
Tuesday, March 10, 2020
The card - stamped images are from SU. The flower is stamped 3 times (2 lg, 1 sm), punched out and layered. Each layer is popped up. The bee is stamped in black, colored and die cut. The background is white with strips of patterned paper down each side.
Well, thanks ladies for all the encouraging words. I'm glad to be back. Want to update things a bit as soon as I find some time, but it's all good for now!
To catch you up a bit, I do have some exciting news! Another baby is on the way! I will have a new grandbaby around October 5. It was a huge surprise so now we're all going to be scrambling to replace all the baby stuff we got rid of! LOL!
Hudson turns 4 on Thursday, so I'm spending this week getting ready for his birthday dinner. Can't believe it's been 4 years! Time really does fly when you're having fun!!!!
So, I'm off to do errands this morning. Looking forward to some stitching time with friends tonight.
Happy stampin'

One last card......this is a new set from SU that my friend Emily gave me for Christmas. I love it! It's going to get lots of use!!!!
Sorry I've been MIA the last few weeks. Ran out of cards, didn't have time to stamp and life just got in the way! I had Hudson every day for 2 weeks - which was a complete joy, but limited my time to get other things done.
So..... after the fact, I've decided to give up doing the blog - at least for now. I've been thinking about switching to Facebook to post cards - would love to be able to have a little more ability to communicate with each other a little bit more! My computer is getting so old and slow too! Many reasons (or maybe just excuses!). But, for now, I've decided to take a break from the Blog thing. It will still be available, but I will no longer be posting. It's been fun - and I've loved your comments and support during the difficult times. But for now.......

The card - Background is embossed. I sponged the folder before I embossed. I stamped the trees on a smaller piece of white and added it to the back of the window die cut. I added a couple sprigs of greenery die cuts and some ribbon to the bottom of the window.
A Dr's appointment this morning (just a med check) and then I really need to get myself organized and figure out what all needs to be done in the next couple of weeks! Looking forward to an evening of stitching with a friend.
Have a wonderful day!

Stitching with friends tonight. A full day of fun!

(tan, not yellow) The tree is stamped on a small piece and added to the front of the card while the window frmae is popped up over the tree. The sentiment strip at the bottom is also popped up. Try it - it's really a pretty card!:)

More 'Grandma time' today. Loving it! That's all. Since I'm not in charge of Thanksgiving this year (yay!) I don't have much to do except make a couple of pies and some mashed potatoes in the morning.
If you are traveling to be with friends and/or family, please be careful and have a safe trip!
