Project Sunday -   another wooly sample finished for my friend Laura.

Looking forward to an entire day of stamping with my friend Karen.  I got totally sidetracked yesterday and didn't get any stamping done.  But I couldn't turn down an invitation from Hudson to come to his house and 'play'.  Then for some reason I decided I needed to clean and organize the filing cabinets of paper.  Still not finished with that, but I'm making progress.  I will have to get the mess cleaned up before Karen gets here so we have a place to stamp!  I'll have to shove it to the side and finish that job this coming week!

 Snowed in.  Well, not literally, but the roads are a mess so I have no plans to go anywhere today.  I'll just spend some time in the stamp room!  Yesterday I had a pleasant surprise - school was cancelled because of the snow so I ended up with some extra 'Grandma time' with Hudson.  We had a great day, baking cookies, doing art projects and just hanging out!  So glad I can have those unexpected days!

Project Sunday - we have such a talented group of ladies in our Needle Keepers group.  Almost everyone had a finished project to show this last week (except for me :)  I should have taken a picture of everyone's projects, but I got totally side-tracked.  But, this is Nancy's finished sheep with her seasonal blanket.  (there will be a blanket for each season!!)  So cool!

Not much happening today.  Being pretty lazy this week!

Doesn't feel like I've accomplished much all week!   No sense in starting today!  :)  I do have a short list of odds and ends I'd like to get done today.   Maybe I'll start with that :)

Another day with no plans.  The boys did happen to pass along some germs (I thought it was just a one day sort of deal, but it has been with me all week! )   Sort of tired of feeling tired!  I had to cancel breakfast with a friend this morning to protect her because she's having surgery next week.  Certainly did not want to expose her to germs!  It will go away soon I hope, just not feeling very energetic.  I'm thinking stamping might be a good thing today!

Project Sunday - Here is my 'new' black and white bedroom.  I made the macrame holder in the corner and the photos are some my daughter took in New Orleans when were there for Christmas one year. 

Gotta say it was pretty quiet around here after Jeff picked Ethan up yesterday.  After having the boys here all week it felt just a bit lonely.  And even though they passed on some of their 'sickies' (just a bit of a cold though) I did manage to spend some time in the stamp room.  I also took a nap and went to the grocery store,!  A bit productive anyway!  So, today it's back to the stamp room and a bit of playing.

Sick kids is the name of the game this week.  Turns out Hudson has pink eye which I'm pretty sure he got from Ethan.  Ethan should be able to go back to daycare today, but Hudson will probably be here the rest of the week.  Poor guy.  But, that's my life this week!

My week has taken an unexpected turn.  And here I thought I was going to have a rather normal week - lol!  They called yesterday from day care saying Ethan was running a temp and needed to be picked up.  So, off I went.  So, instead of spending a nice relaxing afternoon stitching I had Ethan to entertain me!  And, because of the rules, he can't go back to day care until Thursday at the earliest!  Hmmmm.  So today is more 'Grandma time'.   There is nothing more important!

I was rather productive yesterday - re-decorated my bedroom.  Have been wanting to do that for awhile and I've been collecting bits and pieces since Christmas but just got around to doing it yesterday.  Went from blah to black and white.  I love it!  Now today it's time to get some laundry done and start on a new wooly project!

My friends Karen and Eileen are coming to craft  today.  Originally I thought I'd spend the day stamping, but I've got a couple of other projects I'm working on so I want to finish up another wooly sample and make a macrame plant hanger.   But, no matter what I'm doing it will be a great day spent with friends!  :)
