The card - tree image is from Hero Arts.  The image is stamped with navy on white then layered on navy and then on another layer of white.  The card is navy.

I really need to get some more stamping done today.  Hopefully I can be a little more productive than I was last week.  Not sure where the ol' stampin' mojo went but maybe it will come back today :)  One can only hope!

Have a great day!

Project Sunday - another snowman that is all stitched and ready to be made into a pillow or wall hanging.

Looking forward to a full day of stitching today - woo hoo!  I'm really glad we were able to keep the Black Sheep group together after Laura closed her shop.  It's a great group of ladies and I always enjoy stitching with them.  I may have to leave a bit early though - can't miss the entire play-off game today - Go Broncos!

Have a wonderful day.

Photo Saturday - from Arches National Monument near Moab, Utah.

The Good Time Girls are coming today - oh yay!  It will be a fun day and hopefully I can be productive too!

Enjoy your day.

Friday, January 10, 2014

The card - chevrons and splotches are stamps from SU.  Colors are razzleberry and white.

Oh my, I seem to have lost my stamping mojo somewhere.  I was having a difficult time getting any cards done yesterday - guess I will try again today and see if I can get back in the groove.  Looking forward to Friday night crafting with Deb tonight!

Have a great day!

Thursday, January 9, 2014

The card - flower is a stamp and matching punch from SU.  Leaf is a die cut from SU.  A pretty simple and easy one to put together.

It's time to get some stamping done, so that's my plan for today.  Looking forward to our Shoebox Club tonight - we're celebrating Deb's birthday so we're doing dinner and gifts instead of a project.  It will be a fun evening.

Have a great day!

Wednesday, January 8, 2014

The card - stamp and matching embossing folder are from SU.  I used markers to ink the stamp, stamped the image and then lined the embossing folder up with the image.

Not sure what my plans are for the day except that at some point I need to get the classroom set up for class tonight.  I do have a few errands that need to be done so maybe I'll try to get that out of the way today.

Have a wonderful day.

Tuesday, January 7, 2014

The card - background stamp is from Hero Arts- stamped with kraft.  Strips are washi tape.

Time to get some household stuff done today and then get ready for class tonight.

Enjoy your day!

Monday, January 6, 2014

The card - just a little washi tape and a tag (from Hero Arts).  Colors are black and white.

I have a long list of things that need to be done this week - just not sure where to start.  Hopefully I'll figure it out before the day is over :)

Have a great day!

Sunday, January 5, 2014

Project Sunday - a project that was originally intended to be a Christmas gift - ha! The stitching is all done but it still needs to be made into a pillow - and I can't find the cord for the sewing machine.  I have several things that are close to being finished so I guess I will have a great start on gifts for next year :)

I made some progress on class stuff yesterday, hopefully I can finish all that up today.

Have a great day!

Photo Saturday - from Colorado National Monument

It's time to start thinking about class projects - in fact I guess I better do more than just think about it since I have classes starting this coming week.

Have a wonderful day!

Friday, January 3, 2014

The card - a really simple thank you - embossed background, printed paper, ribbon and a sentiment.  Colors are white and riding hood red.

Had a lovely time yesterday afternoon - met some new ladies that enjoy stitching and even got a bit of stitching done!  Today I need to run a couple of errands and then I can look forward to getting back to our Friday night crafting!  Yay!

Have a great day.

Thursday, January 2, 2014

The card - background stamp is SU.  Hexagons were punched out of printed paper with SU's hexagon punch.  Colors are kraft and white.

Oh gosh, it seems the holidays are over and now it's time to actually live in the real world again.  I have a lot of 'work' that needs to get done in the next few days but today I am going to a new stitching group at a local shop.  I haven't really had time to miss all the stitching days I used to attend at Laura's, but I knew that once the moving and then the holidays were over that I would be feeling the loss more.  So, I joined a group that starts today - looking forward to meeting a new group of stitchers!

Have a great day!

filled with
love and laughter

Tuesday, December 31, 2013

Have a safe and fun New Year's Eve.

Monday, December 30, 2013

The card - chevrons and some bling.  Colors are smoky slate and white.

I've discovered that hanging out with sick people is not good for your health!  Most of Sara's family got sick towards the end of our visit and it seems they passed it on to me.  Ugh!  Have too much to do to feel this bad.  Can only hope it doesn't last long.

Have a great day!

Sunday, December 29, 2013

We didn't do any sight-seeing while we were gone, but we did go to John Fielder's Art Gallery to see Jeff's photo hanging on the wall.  Pretty impressive.

I guess it's time to get back to the real world now.  I'm hoping to work up the ambition to get the Christmas stuff taken down - we'll see.  At least I will get the laundry done and watch a little football - Go Broncos!

Have a wonderful day!

Oops - forgot to set the early morning time on this post!

Just got home - had a wonderful week.  Sara's family is delightful.  Off to unpack.

Have a great day!

Enyoing the holidays in Denver.

Have a wonderful day.

Thursday, December 26, 2013

The card - snowflake punches from Martha Stewart - colors are baja and white.

Pre-posting  just in case - hope everyone is enjoying the holidays.

Have a great day!

Wishing you a
 Merry Christmas
and a
New Year filled with
Peace, love & joy!

Tuesday, December 24, 2013

The card - a glittery star, some ribbon and a sentiment.   (oops, can't believe I didn't notice the ribbon was crooked when I took the picture!)

Time to get the suitcase packed - we'll be leaving for Denver around noon to spend Christmas with my daughter-in-law's family.  A new adventure for me!

Have a wonderful day and enjoy your Christmas Eve festivities.

Monday, December 23, 2013

The card - I used SU's hexagon punch with some patterned paper, added a sentiment and some ribbon.  Colors are artichoke and vanilla.

Time to get ready for the trip to Denver - just have a bit of laundry to do and a couple of gifts to wrap and I think I will be good to go.

Enjoy your day!

Sunday, December 22, 2013

Brrr...still cold here - and we got a bit more snow yesterday - these icicles on the edge of my roof just keep getting longer and longer!

Think I'm taking a break today - nothing pressing that needs to be done so I'm going to watch the football game - Go Broncos! - and just relax.

Have a great day!

Photo Saturday - a snowy Colorado National Monument

Since we are going to be in Denver with Sara's family next week for Christmas Jeff & I decided we'd do our family Christmas before we left.  So, we're doing dinner and opening gifts today.

Have a wonderful day!

Friday, December 20, 2013

The card - embossed background - tree is from SU.  Added some bling and ribbon.  Colors are white and baja.

A trip to the grocery store and then I need to get presents wrapped.  Looking forward to a nice relaxing craft night with Emily!

Enjoy your day!

Thursday, December 19, 2013

The card - SU's hexagon punch fit the hexagons on this printed paper just perfectly so I just punched them out and added a couple of snowflakes and some bling.  Colors are kraft, artichoke and white.

A Christmas get-together here tonight so that means I need to get my house in some sort of order and make some spinach dip (it's potluck so I won't be cooking all day!)  Looking forward to a fun evening.

Have a great day!

Wednesday, December 18, 2013

The card - can't get much simpler than this - washi tape, twine and a sentiment.

Stuck at home today - Jeff's truck is in the shop so he borrowed my car for a day or two.  Funny how I had no plans to go anywhere, but now that I don't have a car I want to go somewhere - lol!  But it's a good day to get some peanut brittle made so that will be my goal for the day.

Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday, December 17, 2013

The card - tree is from SU - stamped with kraft on vanilla - added a sentiment and some kraft ribbon.

Spent the entire day yesterday shopping - oh my - it's been so long since I've been to any stores except Lowes and Home Depot that I was just having way too much fun!  But most of my gift shopping is done - have just a couple of small things left to get - yay!  Today I'm going to stay home and try to get the laundry done and a box ready to ship.

Enjoy your day!

Monday, December 16, 2013

The card - embossed panel, holly die cuts, some bling and a sentiment.  Another super easy one.

Feeling much better thank goodness!  Whew - don't have time to be sick, way too much to do this week!  I was really bummed that I missed out on Laura's entire stitching event though.  I was feeling a bit better by yesterday so I did manage to get my Christmas letter done and in the mail.  Now it's time to get some shopping done - so I guess I will brave the cold today and hope the crowds are not too bad!

Have a great day!

A little more before and after:  the living room

Before:  the original window (from 1954), carpet that was at least 20 years old, screen door falling apart, the wall on the right is bright green

After:  new window - new door - new floor.  It's small, but functional.  The tv was a biggie for me, as the one I had was probably 30 years old - an old console tv.   This was another room that got downsized big time - I had to get rid of a big coffee table, plus a love seat and recliner that matched the sofa.  But it's what I call 'cozy' and works just fine for me!

Photo Saturday - a snowy Mt Garfield

Feeling a bit better this morning - have slept for most of the last 24 hours - good grief!  I hope I can work up enough energy to go to Laura's stitching thing for at least a little while today.  Really hate to miss the whole event!

Have a great day!

Friday, December 13, 2013

The card - tree is from SU, stamped with artichoke and then added some bling.  White piece across the bottom is torn and then I added the sentiment and some ribbon. Colors are white, cherry cobbler and artichoke. Yep, another easy one.

Supposed to be going to an all day stiching thing today - however, I've been up half the night with some kind of stomach thing going on  yuk!  I feel really crappy, so it looks like I might have to miss the class this morning.  Darn it anyway!  Hopefully I will recover by this afternoon and can carry on with my day!

Have a wonderful day.

Thursday, December 12, 2013

The card - a little grunge, some washi tape, some bling and an ornament punch.  Yep, another easy one.  Card is white, embossed strip is kraft.

Having computer issues this morning - yuk - I hate when that happens.  Darn thing didn't want to start, then it went through this whole thing about repairing the problem, but low and behold, then it said it couldn't repair the problem.  Good grief!  Anyway, off to get a haircut this morning and then I will need to get home and get the mess cleaned up from last night and get ready for our Shoebox Christmas get together.  Another fun evening!

Have a great day!

Wednesday, December 11, 2013

The card - embossed snowflakes, a cherry cobbler strip with some added punched out snowflakes (punch is from Martha Stewart), a little ribbon and a sentiment.  Can you tell I'm into super easy these days?

Off to get ready for my annual Christmas event for my card class students - food to prepare and some setting up to do.

Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday, December 10, 2013

The card - just added a sentiment and a little bling to an embossed panel.  Another super easy one.

Grocery shopping today - have to make my list and go get all the stuff to make the food for tomorrow night's card class event.

Enjoy your day!

Monday, December 9, 2013

The card - a tree made with washi tape - added a sparkly silver star and some bling.  How easy is that?

Have to get my projects figured out for Wednesday night's card class today.  Then I can relax and enjoy our stamp club get-together with Deb tonight.

Have a wonderful day!

Sunday, December 8, 2013

Before and after:  this was the largest bedroom so I decided to use this room for my office/wool room.  Jeff came over and helped me get the shelves put in the closet this week so I was finally able to get all my wool goodies put away and accessible!

Before

Photo Saturday - Brrr!  Snow and freezing temps!

Making progress - have a few Christmas gifts ordered (thank goodness for internet shopping), have at least one project done for class next week (only 3 more to go) and my project and gifts are ready for Shoebox next week!  Now I need to get some laundry done and go to the store to get supplies for making peanut brittle.

Have a great day!

Friday, December 6, 2013

The card - aw, finally some Christmas cards :)  The tree is from SU, stamped in white.  I stamped it three times without re-inking in between.  Card is kraft with printed paper added at the bottom of the panel.

I guess the first thing I need to do today is get the mess cleaned up from two days of stamping. Then I need to figure out projects for my card class event next week and a calendar topper for Shoebox and oh my, I really need to start thinking about Christmas gifts.

Have a wonderful day!

Thursday, December 5, 2013

The card - a little white on white. (one of my favorite things!)

Brrrr!  It's 7 degrees and lots of frozen snow on the ground.  The high is only supposed to be 17 today - yuk!  Another good day to stay inside and stamp.  I did get some stamping done yesterday - not real productive as it's taking me a while to find things in this new room :)   But it feels good to stamp again!!!!

Enjoy your day.

Wednesday, December 4, 2013

The card - some printed paper and a tag stamp/die cut from Hero Arts.

Sure glad I got my errands done earlier in the week - it's been snowing all night and it's still snowing.  Guess I will get to use my new snow shovel today!  Had a stamping day planned with Judy S today, but I don't imagine she's going to venture out in this mess.  Looks like I will be stamping by myself today - it's been so long since I stamped anything that it will be a miracle if I remember how :)

Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday, December 3, 2013

The card - stamped image is from Hero Arts, stamped in a variety of colors with an added sentiment.

Time to get back to regular stuff now - need to get class kits cut today for tonight's class - it seems like it's been forever since I've had a class and my brain needs to catch up and switch gears.  (and that's not as easy as it once was!)

Enjoy your day!

Monday, December 2, 2013

The card - stamped image is from SU.  Colors are wisteria, eggplant and limeade.

A good day yesterday - the Broncos beat Kansas City (again!) and the Christmas decorations are up!  Yay!  I still haven't gotten any stamping done, but hopefully I can get to that soon!  A long list of errands to get done today.

Have a great day!

An on-going project..... if you remember how packed to the ceiling this garage was just a few weeks ago, this is definitely an improvement.  My car is in the garage and the pile of stuff only takes up half now!  That's progress!  I actually have new garage doors now too.

Started putting up the Christmas decorations yesterday.... I'm hoping to finish that up this morning and maybe have some time to stamp this afternoon - woo hoo!

Enjoy your day!
